Today (the 22nd), HTC posted its first teaser video from a brand-new account, “VIVEE,” on the global official VIVE social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X), hinting that a new product is coming. The account name has an extra E, but HTC did not explain what the E stands for, nor did it reveal any product specifications or launch timeline, leaving only one line: “The next step will be revealed soon.”

What is VIVEE? That’s all I know so far.
According to HTC’s press release, VIVEE is positioned as “starting from everyday life, integrating technology into daily communication, and exploring more possibilities for interaction, understanding, and emotional connection.” This description is deliberately vague and does not specify the product category. Based on HTC’s recent product direction, VIVEE is likely related to AI smart glasses or wearable devices.
HTC has now been created under the VIVEE account. Instagram、YouTube and TikTok page, but details of the video content have not yet been made public.

Background: HTC has recently been making a full-scale push into AI wearable devices.
VIVEE’s arrival came only three weeks after HTC’s previous product launch. On September 1, HTC had just launched in Taiwan the new round-frame model of the VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses, with a suggested price of NT$15,600, alongside a major software upgrade, including 3K video recording, real-time translation (supporting listening mode and conversation mode), Live Streaming, and VIVE AI Notes expanded to 96 languages for transcripts and AI summaries.
HTC Senior Vice President Huang Chao-ying previously teased at the VIVE Eagle launch event that new products would be launched again in 2027, and he was optimistic that the AI glasses market is about to enter a growth phase. Whether VIVEE is the next step Huang was referring to is worth watching.
From an industry perspective, the smart glasses market is heating up rapidly. Meta Connect 2026 will take place on September 23–24, and observers expect Meta to unveil a new generation of smart glasses. HTC chose to tease it a day earlier with VIVEE, making the timing intriguing.
Conclusion
VIVEE remains shrouded in mystery. The only certainty is that HTC is preparing something new and deliberately released a teaser on the eve of a competitor’s launch event. More information will be revealed soon.
