A few days ago, OpenAI announced the launch of the new generation 4o Image Generation feature, and made it available to ChatGPT free users right after the initial rollout. Although free users currently cannot access 4o Image Generation, we still know what the 4o Image Generation feature can do and how it differs from previous image generation features. First, 4o Image Generation allows users to modify content in images through text input, such as preserving the main subject of the image while adding Christmas-themed decorations to the background.
At the beginning of the month, we introduced that ChatGPT canChange the style of the person in the image.Changing the images to styles like The Powerpuff Girls, Detective Conan, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, but at the beginning of the month, ChatGPT’s drawing still had flaws such as not capturing the characteristics of the characters. However, this problem improved a lot after the launch of the 4o Image Generation feature. For example, the editor also tested turning the people in the images into The Simpsons, LEGO, Minecraft, and Ghibli styles, and 4o Image Generation performed very well. 4o Image Generation now produces great results, and when paired effectively with other tools, it can unlock a lot of creative possibilities. For example, using the AI generation tool FLORA we shared before, you can take images generated with 4o Image Generation and combine them with FLORA’s video generation feature to create unique videos. Some netizens abroad used 4o Image Generation to turn famous memes into Ghibli-style images, and then used FLORA to animate those images.
