When doing AI development, sometimes you suddenly lose inspiration or ideas and don’t know where to start. That’s when OpenAI Showcase, which launched not long ago, is a must-bookmark. It collects a large number of games, websites, and AI apps built with GPT models. Not only does each one clearly tell you every development step and the prompts used, you can also try them directly online.

OpenAI Showcase features a large number of games, websites, and AI apps built with GPT.

OpenAI Showcase is a showcase section OpenAI launched on its developer website, mainly collecting games, websites, AI apps, interactive experiences, and real-world applications built with OpenAI models and related technologies. If you usually use ChatGPT, Codex, or GPT models to build small tools but often don’t know what to make, Showcase is a great place to look for inspiration. The official positioning of this page is also straightforward: to let users explore “Demos built with OpenAI.”

What makes Showcase most convenient is that these works don’t just include a single image or a brief introduction; many projects offer an “Explore project” entry point, so you can directly open and experience the actual work. For example, the currently featured Little Ritual is a 3D game about delivering coffee in a small spherical world; Physics Museum is a 3D science museum with 5 interactive exhibits; Below the Surface lets you explore different ocean depth zones; and Sunwake is a sailing game.

It also offers quite comprehensive filtering options. In addition to directly viewing Games, Apps, Websites, and API projects, you can further filter by model, project type, purpose, and development technology. Currently, the models include GPT-6 Astra, GPT-5.6, and GPT-5.5. Project types include App, Game, Experience, Landing Page, Storefront, etc. Purposes can be further broken down into Agents, creative tools, data visualization, education, image generation, productivity, Voice, and WebMCP. You can even find projects by technologies such as Next.js, React, Three.js, Python, SwiftUI, etc.

There is also a very interesting “Model Observatory” that has different models create works using the same prompt, then puts the results together for comparison.

Key Features

  • A showcase of games, websites, AI apps, and interactive works built with OpenAI models.

Go to OpenAI Showcase

Once you’ve followed the link above to OpenAI Showcase, you can scroll down to browse the projects, or click a category on the screen to quickly find the projects you’re looking for:

After I click Games, it will display only game works, including mini-games, fun experiences, and 3D worlds:

Each piece has a large image. If you’re interested, hover over it to view the title and description:

If you want to find works for a specific GPT model, there is a filter in the upper right corner. Currently, there are three: GPT-6 Astra, GPT-5.6, and GPT-5.5:

Open the artwork page, and the creation steps and prompts used will appear on the right. Click Try it live in the top-right corner to try it online:

You’ll then be taken to the webpage for this tool/game:
