While Nintendo and The Pokémon Company don’t seem ready to reveal too many details to fans about the new tenth-generation title, Pokémon: Turbulence, leaks and rumors keep surfacing on social media from time to time. Recently, another wave of news has focused on the game’s Professor and Champion—and not only that, but word about the eleventh generation has seemingly also emerged.

According to Centro Leaks, the well-known account that aggregates leaked Pokémon series information,MessageThis latest leak mainly focuses on concept art for the “prequel animation” of Pokémon: Storm. The image shows three characters who will appear in the game: a blue-haired young man, a silver-haired man, and a little girl holding a Chansey doll.

Although many players might initially assume the blue-haired young man is the rival character in Pokémon: Storm, and the silver-haired man is the professor who assists players on their journey, Centro Leaks has surprisingly revealed that the blue-haired young man is actually the professor. The leaker stated that players will see an older version of him in the Storm game, and the reason he looks younger in the animated version is that he will time travel at some point.

As for the one in the middle, the character wearing a Hawaiian-style T-shirt is the champion of the new region, “Silver Fox,” who serves as the final opponent in the main story of Pokémon: Turmoil, and he will look older in the game version. As for the girl, Centro Leaks hasn’t revealed much detail, and many players speculate that she might be the guardian of the legendary “Seed Pokémon” in Pokémon: Turmoil.

If this wave of leaked information turns out to be true, it would mean that Nintendo will later release a prequel animation for Pokémon: Turmoil, giving players a deeper understanding of the new game’s backstory, particularly the lore surrounding Legendary Pokémon and time travel. As for when players might get to see more official news about Pokémon: Turmoil, for now it seems we can only keep a close eye on the next moves from Nintendo and The Pokémon Company.

Although the release of Pokémon: Storm may still be a full year away, surprisingly, another wave of leaks from Centro Leaks has appeared.NewsBut attention has already shifted to the next installment in the series, the 11th generation title. According to the information he revealed, the Game Freak team has already launched an extremely large-scale development plan for the Pokémon series, and the 11th generation Pokémon game was actually in planning as early as two years ago.

Generally speaking, new entries in the Pokémon series typically begin full development only after a previous game has officially launched. For example, Pokémon: Storm started production in 2022, the year the predecessor, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, was released. However, due to delays in Storm’s release schedule, the development team began planning the next 11th-generation title as early as 2024, with a projected launch in 2030.

According to the TeraLeak leak that broke out last October, Game Freak will release several Pokémon spin-off titles between Pokémon: Storm and the new 11th-generation games, including DLC for Pokémon: Storm, a new Pokémon Legends game set in the Galar region, and a large-scale MMO that brings together many Pokémon regions. But as with all past leaks, the exact answer still awaits an official announcement.
