LINE Taiwan’s official blog stated that the same LINE account can be logged in on a total of 4 devices at the same time: “a mobile phone, a computer, an iPad tablet, and a wearable device (such as a smart watch).” If there is a need to log in to other devices at the same time, you must turn on the “Settings” > “My Account” > “Allow login from other devices” option. However, when using LINE mobile version, the same account cannot be used on multiple mobile devices at the same time. If the phone number authenticated by LINE mobile version is used to log in to LINE with the same phone number on another mobile phone, the LINE account on the original mobile phone will be automatically deleted.
The official also mentioned that LINE has previously launched a LINE application for iPad. Just like the computer version, you only need to enter the email account and password set on the smartphone version to use the original LINE friend list and purchased stickers on the iPad.
However, LINE officials also added that if you log in to a LINE account on an Android tablet, the account will be moved to the Android tablet, and the LINE account on the mobile device will not be available.
In addition, if you want to confirm which devices your LINE account is logged into, you can also confirm the status of the devices logged into LINE through the steps of LINE homepage > “Settings” > “My Account” > “Devices currently logged in” on the small gear in the upper right corner.
To put it simply, the most commonly used computer version and mobile phone are used to log in to the LINE account at the same time. As long as the “Allow login from other devices” option is turned on, there is no problem.
