As the relationship between China and India gradually deteriorated, in early June, a developer created a Remove China Apps to delete Chinese Android apps. It can be said that it became popular as soon as it was launched. However, it was removed from the shelves soon because it encouraged users to remove or deactivate other apps, which violated Google Play’s policies. After about a month, another Chinese App Detector was launched a few days ago. In a few days, it received nearly 10,000 ratings and 4.5 stars.
Another Chinese App Detector is now available
The previous Removed China Apps, in addition to detecting whether apps from Chinese developers were installed on users’ mobile phones, also provided a one-click removal function. Therefore, they violated this rule of Google Play, which “prohibits apps from encouraging or inducing users to remove or deactivate third-party apps” and was forced to be removed from the shelves.
The Chinese App Detector that was launched a few days ago has improved this point. It can only detect but cannot remove, allowing users to decide whether to manually remove it to comply with Google Play regulations.
You can also find this app on Google Play in Taiwan, and it’s very easy to use. After one-click scanning, the screen will show whether there are apps from Chinese developers on your phone. I originally thought that if the name had the English word “Chinese”, then all Chinese Apps would be compatible. However, after actual testing, it turned out that there were only Chinese developers.

Although this time Chinese App Detector complies with the terms of the previous violation, it is still targeted at specific countries. I guess it may still be removed from the shelves by Google for other reasons. Friends who are interested remember to download it as soon as possible.
