OPPO today launched the all-new OPPO A7 Pro series in Taiwan, continuing the A series’ focus on “hardcore durability” and “extreme battery life,” and introducing a higher-tier Pro Max version for the first time. The series targets slash workers and professionals who frequently switch between work and life, packing a large battery, top-level water resistance, and military-grade shock resistance into a single phone. The top-spec A7 Pro Max features the largest 10,000mAh battery in A series history, and also supports 27W reverse charging, 80W SuperVOOC, IP69K top-level water resistance, and rainstorm touch. Both new phones will go on sale in Taiwan on October 1. The A7 Pro starts at NT$13,990, and the A7 Pro Max is priced at NT$17,990.
The OPPO A7 Pro’s 10,000mAh-class battery is its main selling point, and reverse charging lets it double as a power bank.
The A7 Pro Max has a built-in 10,000mAh ultra-large battery, a battery configuration that is a first for Taiwan’s mid-range phone market. According to OPPO laboratory data, when fully charged, it can last up to 60 hours of calls or about 21 hours of continuous Google Maps navigation. In terms of charging speed, the A7 Pro Max supports 80W SUPERVOOC Super Flash Charge, taking about 91 minutes to charge from 1% to 100%. The entire series also features reverse charging, with up to 27W wired output, allowing the phone to recharge other devices and charge up to three devices at once, turning the phone itself into a portable power source.
The standard version of the A7 Pro has a battery capacity of 8,000mAh, supports 45W Super Flash Charge, and retains 27W reverse charging.
Military-grade protection plus IP69K, and it even supports touch in heavy rain.
Durability is a core spec shared across the A7 Pro series. The body uses thicker Crystal Shield glass, a high-strength aluminum alloy midframe, and a biomimetic foam cushioning structure. This structural design improves impact resistance and reduces the risk of damage from accidental drops. For water and dust resistance, the A7 Pro series is certified to IP66, IP68, IP69, and the highest IP69K, so it can resist dust ingress and deep-water immersion, and withstand high-pressure and high-temperature water jets. It can handle construction site dust, agricultural muddy water, and the oil and moisture found in auto repair settings.
For rainy-day use, the series supports Rainstorm Touch, handling extreme rainfall of 1,000 millimeters per hour and maintaining touch response even when the screen or fingers are wet. At the launch event, they actually used the phone to crack walnuts and demonstrated that it still worked normally after a 1.8-meter drop, showcasing the drop resistance of the body structure.

The A7 Pro series is equipped with 50-megapixel front and rear cameras. The front camera has a 100° ultra-wide AI zoom specification and supports AF autofocus and 0.6x ultra-wide selfies. AI smart wide-angle switching adjusts the focal length based on the number of people in the frame and, with distortion correction, reduces distortion of faces at the edges in group photos.
The front camera now adds the same selfie screen fill light feature as flagship models, turning the screen into a reflector in dimly lit places to provide soft fill light. Paired with built-in AI portrait beautification, it preserves skin texture while adding fill light. For the main camera, both the A7 Pro Max and A7 Pro feature a 50MP main lens paired with a 2MP depth lens.
For the display, the A7 Pro Max features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits of brightness, along with dual stereo speakers and a 300% Super Volume mode. Despite packing a 10,000mAh-class battery, its body thickness is kept at 8.57mm.
In terms of exterior design, the main color “Clear Sea Blue” uses a 3D dynamic ripple pattern and iridescent cold foil stamping, and the back cover presents a ripple effect depending on the light; “Starry Night Black” and “Titanium Silver” adopt a micro-matte skin-friendly finish to reduce fingerprint smudges. The camera module of the A7 Pro Max features a “Smiling Camera Island” design, outlined with a 17.7-degree smile curve, and has a built-in multi-color breathing light that supports 7 presets and 1 custom color, changing lighting effects with incoming calls, notifications, music, and games.
Processor and Pricing Information
The A7 Pro Max features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, runs ColorOS 16 out of the box, and supports 5G+5G dual SIM dual standby and eSIM. The A7 Pro, meanwhile, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX and supports microSD card expansion up to 2TB.
For pricing, the A7 Pro Max comes in Ocean Blue and Starry Night Black, with the 8GB+256GB version priced at NT$17,990. The A7 Pro comes in Ocean Blue and Titanium Silver, with the 8GB+256GB version priced at NT$14,990 and the 8GB+128GB version priced at NT$13,990. Purchases registered through any channel before October 31 will receive a 2-year battery warranty; if you purchase and register at an OPPO Experience Store, the OPPO online store, or an officially designated e-commerce platform, you can also enjoy a 1-year extended warranty, 1-year screen accidental damage protection, and up to NT$3,000 in original accessory shopping credit.
Teams up with foodpanda to set up mobile supply stations.
Recognizing delivery partners’ heavy reliance on battery life and durability, OPPO has also announced a partnership with delivery platform foodpanda. Starting September 23, 11 OPPO experience stores across Taiwan will become “mobile supply stations” for delivery partners, offering free bottled water, phone charging, and short rest services.
