Global debut of MediaTek’s 2nm flagship chip
The X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are the first to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, built using TSMC’s 2nm process, with an 8-core CPU architecture and clock speeds up to 4.55GHz; the standard X500 is powered by the Dimensity 9600M chip. The phones also come with an all-new Mali-G2-Ultra-NX GPU, LPDDR5X Ultra quad-channel memory, and UFS 4.1 storage, delivering significant improvements in gaming, AI computing, and multitasking.
Ultra-Large-Capacity Blue Ocean Battery
With its new-generation high-density Blue Ocean battery technology, vivo has significantly increased battery capacity while maintaining a body thickness of approximately 7.95mm to 8.15mm. The X500 Pro Max is equipped with an industry-rare 8,000mAh ultra-large battery; the standard X500 has a built-in 7,500mAh battery, while the X500 Pro, positioned as a compact flagship, fits a 6,510mAh battery into a 6.36-inch body. The entire series supports 90W wired flash charging and 40W wireless flash charging.
All-New Blueprint Motion Imaging Architecture
As demand for audiovisual content creation grows rapidly, vivo is focusing the X500 series on video capture capabilities. vivo has partnered with Sony to co-develop the BlueImage LightControl 900 sensor, offering up to 17EV dynamic range and 0.75e- ultra-low read noise, so even when recording in backlit or low-light scenes, more highlight and shadow detail can be preserved. Meanwhile, the new phones feature in-house-developed V3+ and VS1 dual imaging chips, combined with the new Imaging NPU 2.0, supporting native 8K video recording, Log 10-bit 4:2:2 recording, ACES color management, and DaVinci Resolve color workflows. They also support native 8K Live Motion Photos and 4K 240fps cinematic slow-motion recording, making high-speed action capture even easier.
Professional-grade image stabilization system
The main and telephoto cameras in the Pro series are both certified to CIPA 7.0-level image stabilization; the X500 Pro Max additionally features 3° gimbal-grade optical stabilization technology, further enhancing handheld video stability and greatly improving the success rate of high-magnification shooting and handheld recording.
ZEISS 200MP Telephoto Evolves Further
The X500 Pro Max is equipped with a 200MP ZEISS APO super telephoto lens, featuring an f/2.67 aperture, 3.5x optical zoom, and up to 100x digital zoom, and supports 1,536-point multi-zone laser autofocus and 30x action capture. In addition, it can be used with the vivo ZEISS Teleconverter G2 Ultra to further extend to an equivalent 400mm focal length, meeting long-distance shooting needs such as wildlife, sports, and concerts.
