Insta360 unveils the new Insta360 X6 panoramic camera: three cameras in one, AI auto-editing, and 3D spatial capture – the 10th-anniversary flagship

The X6 features dual custom Sony 1/1.1-inch square sensors, delivering an equivalent 1-inch 360-degree panoramic image. The sensor area is 33% larger than the previous X5, with roughly four times the light intake per frame, an F2.0 aperture, and an equivalent focal length of 7.78mm.

On the processor side, the X6 uses a triple-core AI chip system: one 8-core 3.3GHz 4nm flagship processor paired with two dedicated imaging chips, delivering 500% more overall compute than the X5, 106% faster clock speeds, and 35% lower power consumption. This system translates directly into sharper details, purer colors, and stable noise reduction in dark scenes.

A new low-light mode paired with two ambient light sensors effectively eliminates flicker and enhances night detail. AdaptiveTone 2.0 meters each lens independently, capturing two exposures per frame for a wider dynamic range.
