Review LINE MUSIC was launched in Taiwan on July 10, 2019, giving the Taiwan market a new choice for music streaming services. At that time, singer Coco Lee was hired to endorse LINE MUSIC. Unexpectedly, LINE MUSIC, which has been online in Taiwan for three years this year, announced its service transformation plan today (15th) and directly announced that it will no longer provide music streaming services in the Taiwan market starting from August 1 this year. Last year, LINE MUSIC also launched the LINE MUSIC LIVE “paid online live broadcast” service to provide users with a more diverse digital content experience.
After LINE MUSIC ends its music streaming service in Taiwan, it will focus more on developing the existing LINE “personalized ringtones and background music” in the future, as well as the above-mentioned LINE MUSIC LIVE paid online live broadcast service, and continue to bring diversified applications and development to Taiwan’s music industry through the LINE life circle.

The system will stop deducting payments for “monthly rental” users before June 25, 2022. Before 23:59 on July 31, 2022, monthly rental users can still use the current music streaming service for the valid days of the plan. “Single-time” users can use the music streaming service until 23:59 on July 31, 2022, and the unused days will be refunded in proportion.
