The second half of this year can be said to be the time when graphics cards are continuously released. Not only Intel will launch Arc desktop graphics card series,NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series is also rumored to be launched in mid-JulyEarlier, foreign media broke the news that NVIDIA may be the first to launch a new entry-level graphics card of GeForce GTX 1630 to compete with the same level of competitor AMD graphics cards. Therefore, friends who are interested in purchasing entry-level graphics cards in the near future may wish to wait and see how this one performs before making a decision.

NVIDIA will launch GeForce GTX 1630 to compete with AMD’s entry-level graphics cards
NVIDIA launched the RTX 30 series entry-level graphics card “RTX 3050” in January this year. Although the recommended price of $249 is not bad, once it enters the market, the price of NVIDIA’s graphics cards will be driven up very high. The RTX 3050 is no exception. It still costs more than $330 to buy, which is unaffordable for some entry-level gamers.
And coincidentally, AMD also launched new graphics cards Radeon RX 6500XT and RX 6400 at about the same time. The price is much cheaper than the RTX 3050, so many entry-level gamers may turn to competitor AMD. Not to mention that AMD recently also offered a “game bundle” discount, buying a graphics card and getting a game for free, which is even more attractive.
Seemingly to solve the dilemma of entry-level graphics cards, according to reports from foreign media VIDECARDZ, NVIDIA is planning to launch the GeForce GTX 1630, which is also the first graphics card in the GTX series to use the x30 model name.

The specs of the GeForce GTX 1630 are unclear at the moment, but you can expect to use the TU117 core, have a power consumption of 75W, and GGDR6 memory. The card is also expected to replace the GTX 1050Ti, so it could cost less than $190, which is the current price of the GTX 1650.
AMD released yesterday RX 6000 Series vs RTX 40 Series Comparison Chart, RTX 3050 provides an average of 64FPS, which is about the same performance as RX 6500XT, but the price is much more expensive. Therefore, AMD compares it with RX 6000, and the difference in strength is very different:

The GTX 1650 series already has as many as five models, including models based on the TU106, TU116 and TU117 cores, and even a SUPER series. The only thing to note is that these graphics cards are not launched in every market, so the GTX 1630 may also adopt the same sales strategy.
I don’t know when it will be launched, but it shouldn’t be too far away. VIDEOCARDZ also confirmed that this graphics card is available.
According to the GTX 16 series specification table compiled by VUDEOCARDZ, every item of the GTX 1630 is still unclear, but the GPU core should be TU117. If it is launched soon, more detailed information should leak out in a few days:
