Epic is giving away multiple games this week. In addition to the regular weekly major releases or indie titles, another interactive live-action video game, “Be the Master of a Cosplayer 5,” is also available for limited-time free pickup. What’s interesting is that the dev team has set expectations upfront on the store page, openly telling players not to expect a “romance experience” or “rich storyline,” even self-deprecatingly joking that the story might be the worst among games of this genre—because this title is all about interacting with beautiful women, not dating simulation.
Additionally, please note that the store page lists a 16+ (Sex) age rating, so it is not suitable for players under 16.

“Be the Master of Cosers 5” is a live-action video interactive game developed by Thermae Studio, featuring first-person perspective and live-action performances, allowing players to interact with the story through choices and enter the protagonist’s Cosplay world. This installment continues the setting of previous games in the series, where players will participate in a competition prepared beforehand and engage in close interactions with multiple characters wearing various Cosplay outfits.
Unlike typical dating sim games, the developers have also been straightforward in stating that this work doesn’t focus on pure love, romance, or tear-jerking storylines—it’s more oriented toward a lighthearted, straightforward, fan-oriented real-person interaction experience.
The game is characterized by the immersion brought by live-action footage, combined with multiple characters, different outfits and styles, and branching interactions, allowing players to progress through the content like watching an interactive video.
Although the development team openly admits that this title targets a niche audience and that story and budget aren’t its biggest selling points, if you enjoy interactive real-person games, Cosplay-themed content, or want to try a fast-paced, highly entertaining experience, then “Please Be My Master 5” would be a pretty solid choice.
