Even though Google+, which few people know about, has stumbled, this has never stopped Google from exploring social services—or rather, the exploration of their experimental project Area 120. Recently, one of them, PAIR (People and AI Research), developed a social service called Keen that looks “very Pinterest” but seems to have more AI and Google search expertise. Google launches another social networking site Keen, should Pinterest be worried?
Seriously, I believe everyone will feel a little yawned when they see that Google is playing social networking sites again, and it is very similar to Facebook and Twitter in its previous battle with G+. It seems to be similar to services such as Pinterest and Pocket. However, I personally feel that this service for collecting interests is actually quite suitable for Google’s own business. Yes, it will still require you to build your own interest and content collection board like Pinterest, but this Google experimental project will require you to enter some keywords about this interest when creating your own Keen. In fact, it is also a good tool for collecting content of your own interest.

In addition to adding links to increase the number of saved interest links, you can also directly search to save more information in this information collection area. The most powerful thing here is that after slowly adding keywords and links to a single Keen, the system will continue to push more content that you may like through search extensions in the EXPLORE column.

To be honest, when I first saw this simple interface, I thought it was just an experimental feature. However, after it initially recommended search content based on keywords and selected a few content that seemed interesting and saved them, its interest prediction became more and more accurate. In the end, the content of my “Keen” exploration and prediction became more and more in line with my own needs – I felt that there was really an element of PAIR’s AI technology in it.

But seriously, the editor has just started to play with this service. In fact, I am not sure how practical it will be after long-term use. But what is certain is that it currently only has an Android app, and there is no notice when the iOS version will arrive. In short, interested friends canClick on Keen Give it a try. Actually I think it’s pretty fun! It is recommended that people who like to try new things can try it out.
