realme today announced the launch in Taiwan of the entry-level 4G new phone realme C01, highlighting long battery life and durable design and targeting budget-conscious students and elderly users who value practicality. It features a 6500mAh large-capacity battery and a 120Hz screen, and the body offers ArmorShell™ protection, military-grade shock resistance, and IP64 dust and splash resistance. The suggested retail price is NT$6,490, and it is going on sale progressively through major partner retail channels starting today, with actual sale times depending on channel stock arrivals. realme officially positions the C series as “value entry-level,” alongside the performance flagship GT series and the all-around number series as the brand’s three product lines; current models such as the C61 and C51 all follow this route. The C01 is the latest product on this line.

realme C01 launches in Taiwan, an entry-level 4G phone for under NT$6,500.
realme C01 has a built-in 6500mAh large-capacity battery (rated capacity 6300mAh). Official tests show that on a full charge it can continuously watch online streaming video for about 19.3 hours, or use navigation for about 15.6 hours; even with heavy use for a whole day, about 26% battery remains. The body supports reverse charging and can serve as a power bank to charge other compatible devices. realme C01 uses a 6.8-inch HD+ (720×1570) LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports DC dimming to reduce motion blur, making it less fatiguing in low-light environments. The screen has a peak brightness of up to 900 nits, and with AI Outdoor Mode, the display remains clear under strong light.

The operating system is realme UI on Android 16, and it is officially claimed to deliver up to 4 years of consistently smooth use. It is optimized for select games and can maintain a stable 60 FPS for up to 3 hours during MOBA tactical competitive play. The processor is the UNISOC T7250, an octa-core chip with a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz.
The body features the ArmorShell™ protective structure, comprehensively enhancing drop resistance and reducing the risk of damage from everyday scratches and accidental drops. It has passed MIL-STD 810H military-grade shock resistance testing and can withstand drops of up to about 2 meters. For protection, it offers IP64 dust and splash resistance, handling light rain or everyday splashes. With wet-hand touch mode, you can still operate the screen or answer calls normally when your hands are wet; it also supports sonic water ejection, playing a specific sound to expel water or dust from the speaker.
Price, Color, and Channel
realme C01 comes in two color options, Twilight Orange and Obsidian Black, both in a 4GB + 64GB capacity combination, with a suggested retail price of NT$6,490 and support for memory card expansion up to 2TB. It is now available at major partner retail channels, with actual availability depending on each channel’s stock arrival.
According to official specifications, the body dimensions are 166.48×78.23×8.69 mm and it weighs about 210 g. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports facial recognition. For connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 5 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), and GPS, and supports 4G+4G dual SIM dual standby.
The Double 11 promotional period kicks off at the same time.
