On October 8, HONOR announced the launch of the “Run For HONOR” co-branded cheer campaign with the Dragons, along with a series of giveaways including Crimson Flame jerseys, cheer flags, and cheer towels, which will serve as exclusive gifts for designated games and seats at the Taiwan Series. HONOR was also invited to serve as the ceremonial first-pitch guest at the Taiwan Series on October 18, with Liwi, special assistant to the president of HONOR Group, taking the pitcher’s mound to open the event.

Run For HONOR! Wei Chuan Dragons’ five home games all to be played at Taipei Dome; HONOR is the first phone brand to enter the Dome.

The Wei Chuan Dragons advanced directly to the Taiwan Series as the team with the best full-season record, holding a five-game home-field advantage. According to China Times News Network, the Dragons plan to move all five home games—Games 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7—to Taipei Dome, mainly because Tianmu Baseball Stadium will undergo optimization work starting in October in coordination with the Taipei City Sports Department. If all five games are played and each sells out at 40,000, attendance could reach as high as 200,000, marking the first time since Taipei Dome opened that a team has played all its Taiwan Series home games at the Dome. The Dragons had already unveiled their Taiwan Series slogan, “Run For Honor,” right after the October 1 game, and now HONOR is using its brand resources to amplify this red wave across the board.

HONOR’s connection with the Wei Chuan Dragons began on August 20 this year. The brand chose to hold the signing ceremony at Taipei Dome, announcing a long-term partnership with the Dragons and becoming the first smartphone brand to enter Taipei Dome and deeply integrate with baseball culture. Its brand visuals will in the future cover Taipei Dome and the Tianmu home stadium, and it will become the designated phone for the cheerleading squad Dragon Beauties. At the launch event that day, HONOR also arranged for Wei Chuan Dragons players to conduct a real baseball impact test on the HONOR 600S, which made its debut at the time; the body remained as good as new after the impact. For this Taiwan Series, HONOR has passed the baton to its new flagship Magic V6, whose signature color, Danxia Red, uses a red base to echo the Dragons’ home-field visuals.

Nearly 70% of HONOR Magic V6 buyers in the first week came from bar phones, as foldables capture the business clientele.

HONOR unveiled its first flagship foldable phone, the Magic V6, in Taiwan on September 30, and it officially went on sale on October 3. It comes in only one configuration, 16GB+512GB, priced at NT$65,990, in two colors: Danxia Red and Snowfield White. The product focuses on durability: its hinge uses the exclusive Luban Shield steel, with strength reaching 2,800MPa, higher than the 1,500MPa of the Tesla Model Y body. It passed SGS 500,000-fold testing and a five-star drop resistance certification, and features IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance. At the launch event, they even drilled the external screen with an electric drill and pulled the body with gym equipment to demonstrate the Black Diamond display’s drop and scratch resistance.

According to HONOR’s first-week market observations, nearly 70% of Magic V6 buyers were previously users of standard bar phones, with the main customer base concentrated among 35- to 45-year-old business professionals who value high efficiency. The brand believes that durability directly addresses the pain point of foldable phone repair costs, and after-sales protection eliminates the psychological barrier to upgrading. In response to concerns about the fragility of foldable screens and hinges, HONOR has launched the industry’s only accidental damage warranty: for purchases made during the specified period, regardless of whether the damage is human-caused or not, within 12 months, repairs can be made once every 30 days with no parts fee. This dual warranty is valued at NT$37,000 and is available for purchases made before October 31.

Buy a phone for a chance to win a pair of championship tickets; HONOR 600S goes on sale the same day.

HONOR is tying its product promotions directly to Taiwan Series tickets: buy a phone through any channel before October 11 and register on the official website for a chance to win two tickets to the Wei Chuan Dragons championship series, valued at NT$3,600. For additional channel offers, buying a phone at the Taipei Syntrend Experience Store, Hsinchu Big City, and Kaohsiung Dream Mall pop-up store includes an extra NT$6,000 postal gift voucher, with trade-in bonuses up to NT$10,000; FarEasTone Telecom offers up to an additional NT$5,000 off when you buy a standalone phone with designated accessories; PChome 24h Shopping, MOMO Shopping, Shopee, and Yahoo Shopping offer up to NT$5,000 off with designated coupons. According to HONOR, the total rewards for buying a phone before October 31 can add up to nearly NT$50,000.

Also featured is the mid-range HONOR 600S, officially on sale on October 8, available in Misty Purple, Quicksand Gold, and Phantom Night Black, priced at NT$14,990 for 8GB+256GB and NT$10,990 for 6GB+128GB. This model, with cheerleading goddess Lee Da-hye as its brand ambassador, packs a large 8100mAh battery and 45W fast charging, has passed SGS five-star drop and impact resistance certification, can withstand drops from 2.5 meters, supports IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance, and can operate under extreme temperature differences from -30°C to 50°C. From signing at Taipei Dome and being a first-pitch guest to ticket giveaways with phone purchases, HONOR has fully made the Taiwan Series part of its brand’s home-field marketing, showing the brand’s emphasis on and dedication to the Taiwan market. Friends who want to experience the actual device can go.
