Intel’s annual gaming event, Intel Gamer Days 2026, is officially here. This year, the company has chosen the outdoor central plaza of Taipei’s SYNTREND Creative Park to build the “Intel Gamer Days & AI PC Experience Pavilion,” open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, August 14 through September 10. Intel has partnered with six major brands—MSI, Acer, ASUS, GIGABYTE, HP Taiwan, and Lenovo—along with five major sales channels: momo, PChome 24h, Tsann Kuen, Union Computer, and Rainbow 3C. In addition to the familiar Gaming Zone for players, this year marks the debut of an AI PC and AI Agent experience area, showcasing the full range of application scenarios from handheld gaming to on-device large language models.

Another highlight this year is the official game partnership. Intel announced collaborations with Crystal Dynamics and Fuse Games, becoming the official launch partner for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and STAR WARS: Galactic Racer. Both games will fully support XeSS 3 technology at launch, including XeSS Super Resolution, XeSS Multi-Frame Generation, and Xe Low Latency. The global marketing campaign runs from August 10 to September 13. Purchasers of qualifying Intel Core, Core Ultra, or Arc graphics products will receive digital copies of both AAA games, with redemption required by October 31.

Three Major Themed Experience Zones: From Gaming and AI PCs to Endpoint Agents, See It All at Once

The main exhibition area is organized into three major themes, allowing consumers to experience the difference that processors and AI technology make through hands-on operation.

Gaming Zone: Hands-On Experience with Next-Gen Mobile Gaming Performance

Gaming Zone showcased gaming systems equipped with the latest Intel processors and discrete graphics cards, including laptops powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors (codenamed Panther Lake) and handheld consoles featuring Intel Arc G-series processors. Panther Lake is Intel’s first client SoC built on the Intel 18A process. Architecture details were officially unveiled on October 9, 2025, with mass production expected at Fab 52 in Arizona, USA. The platform emphasizes high performance and high integration designed for AI PCs.

On the handheld console front, the core is the Intel Arc G series processor, which was announced on May 28, 2026, and is positioned as a dedicated handheld processor. It integrates the Arc B390 graphics core based on the Xe3 architecture, supports real-time ray tracing and XeSS 3, and offers handheld-optimized features such as Xbox Mode. Devices on display at the event included the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+, Acer Predator Atlas 8, OneXPlayer, and other systems.

MSI Claw 8 AI+ is positioned as the world’s first handheld gaming device equipped with the Arc G3 Extreme, the result of two years of collaboration between Intel and MSI across three product generations. The event offered hands-on demos of popular games and the latest content, letting players experience the balance of high performance, low power consumption, and battery life across different models.

AI PC Zone: Tiered Showcase from Entry-Level to High-End

AI PC Zone showcases a full lineup of AI PCs ranging from entry-level to high-end. Models powered by the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 can be configured with up to a 16-core CPU and 12 Xe cores, targeting multitasking workloads such as gaming, content creation, and high productivity. Laptops equipped with the Intel Core Series 3 (codenamed Wildcat Lake) focus on great value, all-day battery life, and everyday productivity needs. On-site demos integrate creative software such as Adobe Creative Cloud to showcase the acceleration AI brings to imaging, video, and content creation workflows, letting consumers experience how AI integrates into daily work and entertainment.

Intel also emphasized at Computex 2026 and in its press releases that the Panther Lake platform is one of the most broadly deployed PC platforms today, serving as a key foundation for high-end AI PCs, while the Arc G series further extends Panther Lake’s display and power management architecture to handheld form factors.

AI Agent Zone: The Debut Live Demo of Terminal Agents

Debuting this year, the AI Agent Zone is the most experimental exhibition area at the venue, featuring systems equipped with Intel Arc Pro B70 graphics cards to showcase how AI Agents evolve from simple Q&A tools into intelligent assistants capable of helping complete tasks.

  • Personal assistant appBased on a device equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 270K processor and Intel Arc Pro B70 graphics card, this demonstration showcases five everyday scenarios: daily life Q&A integrated with LINE, privacy-conscious personal document organization and image analysis, real-time schedules for High-Speed Rail and Taiwan Railway, a commuting assistant covering highway conditions and YouBike station availability, and a personal itinerary secretary powered by Google Calendar—all with the key highlight that every computation is completed on-device, preserving user privacy.
  • Senior Assistant Application: Based on a system equipped with Intel Xeon workstation processors and Intel Arc Pro B70 graphics cards, it provides up to 128GB of graphics memory and supports on-device large models with up to 80B parameters, enabling advanced tasks such as code writing and complex task assignment to run simultaneously. Live demonstrations include examples like writing a Tetris game.

This area aligns with Intel’s recent push into on-device AI, moving Agent capabilities that previously could only run in the cloud to the device side. By leveraging local models and large-capacity video memory, it can complete multi-step tasks without sending data to the cloud.

Two AAA titles will support full XeSS 3 from day one.

Besides the hardware showcase, game collaborations are the focus of this Gamer Days. Intel confirmed that STAR WARS: Galactic Racer will launch on October 6, 2026, and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled for February 12, 2027. Both titles are official launch partners for the Intel platform, with full XeSS 3 support on day one.

Full XeSS 3 includes three technologies: XeSS Super Resolution, XeSS Multi-Frame Generation, and Xe Low Latency. Intel stated that this collaboration covers both marketing and technical aspects, with the two sides working closely on performance tuning to ensure both high visual quality and smoothness on Intel platforms. Fuse Games founder and CEO Matt Webster and Crystal Dynamics studio head Scot Amos both said in the official press release that through the collaboration with Intel on performance tuning and XeSS 3 integration, players will receive an optimized experience on day one of launch.
