MSI officially announced today (4/30) that the new 32-inch flagship gaming monitor MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 will be officially launched in Taiwan on May 4, with a recommended price of NT$36,888. This monitor is equipped with Samsung’s latest fourth-generation QD-OLED panel and combines a number of innovative display technologies, including DarkArmor film technology, AI Care Sensor intelligent protection and custom HDR curve functions, to bring an unprecedented visual experience to high-end e-sports players.

Fourth generation QD-OLED panel: Tandem tandem structure brings brightness revolution

MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 uses a 31.5-inch UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution panel and is equipped with a five-layer Tandem (tandem) OLED architecture based on Samsung EL Gen 3 technology. This technology effectively improves light efficiency and brightness performance through a five-layer light-emitting structure connected in series, increasing the overall brightness efficiency by about 30% while presenting more accurate and vivid color gradations.

In terms of specifications, this monitor supports up to 240Hz update rate and 0.03ms(GtG) Extremely fast response time, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and Delta E ≤ 2 color accuracy, paired with a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, showing deep blacks and vivid colors at a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and certified by VESA ClearMR 500 and DisplayHDR True Black 500.

DarkArmor thin film technology: Say goodbye to QD-OLED purple fringing problem

Traditional QD-OLED displays are prone to purple or reddish color casts in bright environments, which is caused by the reflection of ambient light by the quantum dot layer in the panel structure. MSI introduces new monitors DarkArmor Thin Film Technology, which can effectively absorb ambient light reflection and increase the depth of pure black by up to 40%, completely solve the annoying purple fringing phenomenon.

Not only that, the DarkArmor film also upgrades the surface hardness from 2H to 3H, providing 2.5 times better scratch and abrasion resistance, reducing the risk of accidental scratches during daily use, and further improving durability and viewing quality.

Customized HDR curve and AI smart detection and protection

In terms of HDR display, MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 supports Custom HDR Curve (Uniform Luminance), can maintain the consistency of picture brightness and optimize the visual experience in different scenes. Different from the abrupt brightness jumps of traditional HDR, users can customize the HDR brightness curve, using different brightness levels to accurately correspond to various window sizes, providing stable and smooth brightness performance.

Additionally, this monitor has built-in MSI OLED Care 3.0 and AI Care Sensor Smart detection technology provides an active panel detection mechanism through a chip based on the NPU architecture. Combined with a real-time human detection algorithm, it can automatically determine whether the user is in front of the screen, intelligently adjust the power supply and activate the panel protection mechanism, effectively reducing the risk of OLED burn-in and ensuring the stability and reliability of long-term use.

Rich I/O ports meet the needs of multiple devices

In terms of connectivity, the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 comes with a complete interface including DisplayPort 2.1a、HDMI 2.1 and support 98W powered USB Type-C, meeting the needs of high-end PCs, next-generation consoles and multiple devices, creating a more flexible e-sports and creative environment.
