A foreign garbage truck driver was very lucky recently. On the way to work, he suddenly found a PC host in the trash can that needed to be cleaned. He brought it back with a try and cleaned it, but he didn’t expect to win the jackpot. Not only can it be turned on normally, but the hardware specifications are also very good. The processor is AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X with 32 cores, and the graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

Garbage truck driver found a pretty nice gaming PC in the trash can
According to a report by foreign media Tom’s Hardware, a few days ago in the Reddit forum, a Siezo user shared the good things he encountered on the PCMR version.
He mentioned that when he was working recently, he found a complete PC in the trash can. Of course, since it was thrown into the trash can, its current condition was not very good, so it required a series of deep cleaning, such as drying the wet hardware.
In order to prevent the broken power supply from affecting the internal hardware, he also made a smart decision to replace the power supply with a new one. Finally, after everything is cleaned and tested, it can be started and run normally.

This appears to be an AIO PC originally, with pretty decent specs, running a 32-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X processor (originally priced at $1,999), a bunch of 32GB of DDR4 memory, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card, using an ASUS Prime TRX 40-Pro motherboard.
Although Siezo can run normally after testing, I feel that these hardwares have not only been affected by moisture, but also must have been soaked by some unknown liquid. It still depends on the long-term use, and it may break down after a short period of use.

In addition, Siezo also added that it is very rare to find intact PCs in the trash. He has been doing this for three and a half years. This is the first time that 99% of the trash is really trash. Occasionally, other items are found that are in good condition. In the past, he has found a drill, a ratchet tool set, and an unopened Bluetooth keyboard (currently used in his TV).
So, don’t expect that if you go through the trash can every day, you will have a chance to find treasures.
However, someone actually threw away the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X gaming AIO PC, which is really incredible. When it was launched in Taiwan, it cost NT$63,770, and now the second-hand price is more than 30,000. Although the RTX 2080 Ti has been launched for several years, it also has 11GB of VRAM, and the current second-hand price is not bad.

All I can say is that having money is great, and it also makes people wonder what the reason is. Some people speculate that the child may have made his parents angry, so his parents threw away the computer. But normal children should not need such good treatment.
Having said that, it is really only a garbage truck driver who is most likely to find treasures in the trash can. After all, most people are not so bored to dig through the trash can.
The original article of this article is in Reddit It has been deleted by the original author Siezo. I am not sure if it is because he is afraid of being reported. After all, he used his position to obtain these things.
