Advances in AI have made our lives more convenient, and Google is further making the shift from AI overviews to AI mode more accessible and intuitive through new designs and new processes. Additionally, Gemini 3 Pro is expanding from the US to international markets, with the English version covering nearly 120 countries and regions, giving more users access to more advanced AI features.

Google begins testing a seamless deep dive from AI summaries on search results pages into AI Mode.

Previously, expanding an AI summary and scrolling to the bottom would show a button that said “Explore deeper with AI mode.” Google is now testing a new design on mobile where tapping the “Show more” button on an AI summary automatically enters AI mode. At the bottom, you’ll also see an “Ask any question” field, letting users immediately ask further follow-up questions.

(1/2) Today we’re starting to test a new way to seamlessly go deeper in AI Mode directly from the Search results page on mobile, globally.

Google says the goal of this new design is to let users avoid having to think about where or how to ask questions. AI summaries are described as a “useful starting point,” and you can also ask conversational follow-up questions directly from the scene in AI mode. It’s a seamless experience: quick snapshots when needed, and deeper conversations when you want them. The feature is now available globally, but the author checked their account today and it hasn’t appeared yet—you’ll need to be a bit more patient.

Meanwhile, with the US launch, Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro in Google Search will roll out to the English-language version in nearly 120 countries and regions worldwide starting today. This remains available only to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. You can open the “Think with Gemini 3 Pro” dropdown menu in the top left corner, and Gemini can generate interfaces relevant to your query, such as dynamic visual layouts, interactive tools, and custom simulations. Nano Banana Pro is powered by Gemini 3 Pro, leveraging Gemini’s advanced reasoning technology and connecting to Search’s vast knowledge base to help you visualize infographics and more.
