What iPhones are affected?
iPhones launched before iPhone 8 cannot be updated to iOS 16, so they cannot be updated to the latest version. Even so, these iPhone users can still use the relatively old version of LINE, but some of the new features launched by LINE may not be available. according to LINE official description, the LINE versions available for the iOS version are as follows:
- iOS 15.0~15.8.2: versions below LINE 14.6.3 can be used
- iOS 14.014.8.1: Can use versions below LINE 13.5.1
- iOS 13.0~13.7: versions below LINE 12.4.0 can be used
- iOS 12.0~12.5.7: versions below LINE 11.17.0 can be used
- Versions earlier than LINE 11.15.0 cannot use the functions of registering new accounts and mobile accounts.
