“We have become aware of some online reports claiming that excessive voltages may damage motherboard sockets and processor pins during overclocking. We are actively investigating this situation and working with our ODM partners to ensure that the voltage applied to Ryzen 7000X3D CPUs via motherboard BIOS settings is within product specifications. Any CPU users who may be affected by this issue should contact AMD customer support.”
Although it can be seen from the reply that AMD has begun to pay attention to this incident, it can also be seen that the official has not admitted that AMD Ryzen 7000X3D has this problem, so friends who use this series of processors do not need to worry too much. There is no need to overclock, and paying more attention to the CPU temperature changes during use should be able to effectively prevent this situation from happening.
