With more and more AI drawing tools appearing on the Internet, life is now full of real and fake pictures. Some AI pictures look just like real photos. It is really difficult to judge with the naked eye. This article will recommend a very easy-to-use Optic AI or Not free tool. After uploading the picture, it will help you identify whether the picture is generated by AI or a real photo. Stable Diffusion, MidJourney, DALL-E, GAN are several well-known AIs. Drawing tools are all easily identified, with accuracy claimed to be as high as 95%.

Optic AI or Not is a free tool that specifically identifies whether images are generated by AI or real photos. It supports uploading and pasting image URLs. It can upload JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, TIFF, and BMP formats. Please note that the image size cannot exceed 10MB:

Scroll down to browse the tool introduction. Currently, the most recognizable AI drawing tools are Stable Diffusion, MidJourney, DALL-E, and GAN. I guess other AI drawing tools that are not on the list can basically be identified. After all, these four are the most powerful and realistic AI drawing tools that can produce images. The accuracy is as high as 95%, and the recognition speed is very fast. You can get the results in just a few seconds after uploading:

Browser extensions are also provided, but they are still in Beta, so the stability may not be that high, and they require registration and application, so they are not open to everyone:

Drag in the image you want to identify, or paste the URL, and the identification will begin. Wait for Processing to run and play to get the result:

I first tested this picture. This is an AI drawing generated by Ada itself. Sure enough, it was successfully identified as being generated by AI. The following will also tell you what percentage is used and which AI drawing tool is used. Like this one, it is 83% sure that it is generated by Midjourney:

Let me test another picture. It is also correctly identified as generated by AI, but the accuracy of using the Stable Diffusion drawing tool is relatively low, only 69%:

I switched to Ada’s selfie, and it was recognized as a real photo, but the accuracy was not 100%, but 81%:

But I use what I introduced beforeNetizens created the “AI Real Person Recognition Test 1st” form, 20 pictures of beautiful women to test whether you can tell which ones are AI drawings and real photos., a certain photo looks very much like a real person, but it is actually a picture generated by AI, so the recognition fails. Therefore, the accuracy of this tool is not yet 100%, and there will still be errors:

As subsequent developers continue to train, I believe the accuracy should become higher and higher. I think it is a pity that they should provide a user reporting function in the results interface, so that they can use the power of netizens to make this tool more accurate.
