in iPhone/iPad software introduction

As ChatGPT becomes more and more popular, I believe many people will want to play it. Although there is a web version, the operation is still not as smooth as the app. The Poe free app recommended in this article is very famous abroad. It is an AI chatbot that integrates OpenAI and Anthropic technologies. In the past, an invitation code was required to join. Recently, this mechanism has finally been cancelled! It is officially open to everyone, and I will quickly recommend it to everyone below.

Poe is currently only available on iOS, and an Android version is expected to be launched soon.

No need for an invitation code! Poe is a free AI chatbot app that can answer everything for you. It is available with OpenAI and Anthropic technologies.

  • Click me to go to App Store to install

After opening Poe, you will be asked to verify your mobile phone number. This step must be done. Even if you click Use email below, you will still be asked to enter your mobile phone number for verification after verifying the email. Therefore, it is recommended to directly use your mobile phone to verify. Numbers from Taiwan or other countries are acceptable (you need to enter the SMS verification code):

Then you can start using it. The default is Sage chatbot, provided by OpenAI technology. However, the first time I asked about “planning a five-day Tokyo trip”, I did answer this question, but the language was English:

Therefore, if I add Chinese and Traditional Chinese, there will be no problem. However, the current Chinese replies seem to occasionally encounter incomplete answers. No matter whether it is simplified or traditional, there is no information on the fifth day:

There is no problem in English. It may be because too many people are using it at the moment when I ask, and the delay results in incomplete input:

After answering, there will be options below that you may want to continue asking:

Clicking will automatically enter the question, but there are also cases where the answer is incomplete. If you encounter someone, you can ask more times. In addition, the Chinese answer section sometimes mixes traditional and simplified Chinese:

Click on the upper left corner to switch to other AI chatbots. Sage and Dragonfly are provided by OpenAI technology, and Claude is provided by Anthropic technology. If you ask different robots the same question, you are likely to get different answers:

Claude is relatively stable. Except for my questions in Chinese and the answers are also in Chinese, all the content is also in traditional Chinese characters. There will also be other question options later that you may want to continue asking:

See what other people share You can browse the content asked by others, most of which are mainly in English. As for when the Android version will be launched, it is still unknown.

Poe is still completely free to use. It is unclear whether an in-app purchase mechanism will be added in the future. Those who are interested are advised to play more now.

In addition, just like the web version, these AI robots still have some limitations. For example, Sage and Claude can only crawl data before 2021. Events after 2021 are not known, and Dragonfly may refuse to answer some questions.
