MSI, the world’s leading laptop brand COMPUTEX 2026 Officially announced Prestige N16 Flip AI+, this is MSI’s first model developed in partnership with NVIDIA and equipped with a new NVIDIA RTX Spark platform for laptops. What is RTX Spark? NVIDIA’s first Arm-based PC super chip
RTX Spark, officially announced by NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang in the GTC Taipei 2026 keynote speech, is positioned as “a super chip for the new generation of Windows PCs.” This chip uses TSMC’s 3nm process and integrates two cores into a single package:
- CPU: 20-core Grace processor (Arm architecture) co-developed with MediaTek
- GPU: NVIDIA Blackwell architecture RTX display chip with 6,144 CUDA cores
- memory: Up to 128GB LPDDR5X unified memory (shared between CPU and GPU)
- bandwidth:CPU and GPU are connected through NVLink, with bandwidth up to 600GB/s
- AI performance: Up to 1 PetaFLOP at FP4 accuracy
Judging from the specifications, the GPU performance of RTX Spark is approximately equivalent to the laptop version of RTX 5070. But the real difference is: it is an Arm architecture, runs Windows on ARM, and integrates the CPU, GPU and large-capacity unified memory on a single chip, eliminating the need for a separate graphics card configuration in traditional laptops, allowing the body to be thinner and lighter.
Prestige N16 Flip AI+: MSI’s first RTX Spark model
MSI chose to use its Prestige series as the first product to carry the RTX Spark platform, instead of the usual e-sports series. Prestige N16 Flip AI+ continues the 2-in-1 flip design of the existing Prestige N16 Flip AI+, but the core architecture is completely replaced with NVIDIA RTX Spark super chip.

This choice is not difficult to understand: RTX Spark emphasizes “high performance in a thin and light body”, and the Prestige series corresponds to the business elite and creator customer groups, and is highly consistent with RTX Spark’s “Windows PC in the Agent Era” positioning.
Two-in-one flip design and stylus: flexible switching from laptop to tablet
Prestige N16 Flip AI+ adopts a 360-degree flippable body and supports four usage modes: laptop, tablet, tent and display. Comes with MSI Nano Pen The stylus can be stored at the bottom of the fuselage and charged at the same time, suitable for note-taking, drawing and presentation situations.
Other hardware specifications include:
- Battery: 99.9Wh (close to the 100Wh airline boarding limit in various countries)
- trackpad: Full-featured touchpad with widened design, supports gesture-defined shortcut keys
- Audio: Four speaker system
EdgeMesa N AI+: RTX Spark mini desktop targeted at AI developers
In addition to laptops, MSI also announced simultaneously EdgeMesa N AI+ mini desktop, also equipped with the RTX Spark platform, targeting AI developers and data scientists.

EdgeMesa N AI+ is positioned to allow developers to run large AI models on the desktop, reducing dependence on cloud services while taking into account data privacy.
What has RTX Spark changed?
The emergence of RTX Spark represents NVIDIA’s official entry into the Arm-based PC market. In the past, the Windows on ARM platform was mainly exclusive to Qualcomm Snapdragon. The addition of RTX Spark brings true independent GPU-level computing capabilities to this ecosystem.
However, Arm-based Windows PCs still face software compatibility challenges. x86 applications need to run through the emulation layer, and some professional software may experience performance degradation or compatibility issues. The optimization progress of NVIDIA and Microsoft in this area will directly affect the actual user experience of the RTX Spark platform.
MSI chose to simultaneously display RTX Spark products at COMPUTEX 2026, showing the industry’s confidence in this new product line. It is expected that consumers will be able to actually experience the true performance of this “AI super chip” in thin and light notebooks after it is launched this fall.
