This profile improves the performance of the AMD RDNA 2 GPU graphics card by adjusting the voltage/clock curve to maximize its potential, but the relative power consumption will also increase accordingly.
In addition, Yuri Bubliy also added that RMP pays special attention to memory tuning, and the operating voltage can be reduced by 6%, allowing GDDR6 to use a lower voltage and reduce heat.

For the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card, using the RMP profile can increase the clock speed by 300MHz, thereby increasing performance by 13%. The original 3DMark Time Spy score was 19,336, which was not surprisingly lower than both the RX 6900 XT and RTX 3090 Ti.

However, the power consumption has also increased. Originally, the maximum power consumption of the RX 6800 XT when running 3DMark Time Spy was 255W. After changing to the RMP 305 profile, it increased to 305W, and the RMP 370 even reached 370W. However, it is worth mentioning that after conversion per FPS, its CP value is higher than the original one, especially compared with RTX 3090 Ti, which is twice as fast:
