Last week OpenAI It has been announced that ChatGPT’s GPTs Store official store will be launched this week, and just after I opened ChatGPT, I finally saw that it was officially opened, but I am not sure whether it will be open to all users at once or gradually. In any case, let’s teach you how to find it. It seems that the function is not open for sale yet, which means that all GPTs robots found so far are free to use.

One thing to note is that currently GPTs Store is only open to ChatGPT Plus, ChatGPT Enterprise and ChatGPT Team users, and the free version is not available.

Now after opening the ChatGPT web version, you should see a prompt on the side saying that GPTs is officially open. Click the “ExploreGPTs” option:

Then you will see that the GPTs page has changed. It not only has a search function, but also categories, including “Top Picks”, “DALL-E”, “Writing”, “Productivity”, “Research & Analysis”, “Programing”, “Education” and “Lifestyle”. There is a search function at the top. You can enter keywords to find the GPTs you want:

I tested the search function. Not only will the results for GPTs with keywords in their names be displayed, but some related ones that are not but related will also be displayed. This is not bad, and each GPTs will also display how many people use it for your reference. The more GPTs there are, the more recommended they are:

After clicking on GPTs, the GPTs chat room will be opened directly, so all GPTs should be free at present, at least I can’t find GPTs with prices marked:

In addition, you can notice that in the DALL-E category, there are not only ChatGPT’s own products, but also many made by netizens, which is different from the old version of ExploreGPTs:

Each category will only display a maximum of 12 GPTs, and the search will not display all results, so there is currently no way to truly browse all open GPTs, but you should still be able to find them by entering the exact name using the search function. According to numbers collected by some third-party GPTs stores, there should be at least more than 2,000 open GPTs bots now:

After you find the GPTs you like, you can open the menu in the upper left corner and pin the GPTs to the side column so that you can use them quickly in the future:

As for when you can make money from GPTs, according to the news, OpenAI is expected to launch a profit sharing plan for GPT developers in the first quarter, but the details are still unclear.

In addition to the GPTs Store, OpenAI has also launched a new “ChatGPT Team” plan, which is specially designed for teams of less than 150 people. It must have at least 2 users, and the annual subscription is US$25 per person per year and month. The biggest difference from ChatGPT Plus subscription is that ChatGPT Team can enjoy the following additional advantages:

  • GPT-4 and DALL·E, browsing, advanced data analysis and other tools have higher message limits
  • Create and share GPTs with your workspace
  • Workspace management console
  • Will not train your data
