When it comes to Yamaha, everyone is familiar with its series of motorcycles and musical instruments, so on the Yamaha Design Laboratory’s IG, a mouse with a motorcycle and wind instrument concept was revealed. The mouse is shaped like a wind instrument. From its golden color and tubular exposed structure, it is easily reminiscent of wind instruments such as the saxophone. The introduction also mentions that the designer uses this appearance to make people feel the flow of air in the instrument. Although there is no video, it seems that the click of the mouse button can be associated with the sound of playing an instrument.
As for the motorcycle-inspired mouse, the frame is integrated into the mouse design, and the engine image is added to the optical sensor of the mouse. With the Yamaha logo, using the mouse feels like controlling a motorcycle, and you can grasp the thrill of speed with one hand.
The motorcycle and wind instrument-shaped mice currently revealed on Yamaha Design Laboratory are just concept designs and are not intended to be commercialized, but commercialization plans may be announced on April 1.
