As the vaccination situation in various countries becomes increasingly optimistic, life in the so-called post-epidemic era has begun to take on a new shape. In the past year, many map services have begun to introduce contactless services or delivery and other marking functions to respond to user needs during the pneumonia epidemic. Yelp recentAnnounce, will begin to provide merchants with conditional labels including “Vaccine certificate required” and “All employees must be vaccinated.” Since the outbreak, in addition to showing whether employees are wearing masks or whether guests are required to wear masks, Yelp will also be able to support the display of vaccine-related conditions – which may also be included in restaurant condition screening in the future.

Considering that different countries and regions have different conditions such as vaccination rates and public opinion attitudes, Yelp only allows merchants to add new vaccine-related options. Since there is some possibility of being expelled (there is a real chance…), the official also stated that it will continue to pay attention to whether merchants that enable these conditions have encountered reviews that are not true experiences, and will remove them according to relevant guidelines.

Speaking of which, in response to the epidemic, many services have actually undergone epidemic-related changes. For example, Google Maps has previously provided relevant settings for temporary business closures for merchants to use. Yelp’s new policy this time is an opportunity for customers to have another reference for choosing restaurants.
