From limited-time updates to e-sports live broadcasts and even news platforms, Facebook has a “do it yourself” mentality for everything. Even though the fever of Clubhouse is about to subside, it still maintains the tradition. Last month, there were reports that Facebook would build its own Clubhouse-like voice social communication platform. Now, this new feature codenamed Live Audio has also been dug up by powerful reverse engineers. #Facebbook is working to natively support video and audio Rooms 👀

This app screen, reverse-engineered by powerhouse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi, is said to be the Facebook version of Clubhouse (look familiar?). Basically, Facebook will directly change the three buttons under the main posting interface of the current mobile version, including the third item of “Live Video/Photos and Videos/Experience Activities”, to a room button – in fact, the function item previously named “Video Circle” will be added to the function bar.

After clicking in, you can see the video circle room opening function, which has a new Live Audio function. Click to use it and you will see the page of the “very Clubhouse” interface. It includes the speaker at the top / listening followers at the bottom, and provides buttons for sharing and liking – users can invite other Facebook users to join this live audio room by sharing links or sending them to Messenger.

That is to say, although it seems that the Facebook version of Clubhouse is close to completion, it is said that this is only on the surface and it is still not actually working. It has to be said that now that Twitter Spaces has come out to seize this market, this function that can excite social users to interact with other non-friends should actually be quite worthy of investing resources in building for these social platforms. It should at least create a ripple in the stratosphere – if it doesn’t end up serving a mosquito den again.
