in Android App Sharing Introduction

In addition to using the vehicle, Google thought of providingExtended functionality to detect unexpected collisions, now it also brings new functions of thoughtful reminders for “digital health” – not only for safety, but also for eye health (right, otherwise, why would it be in the health function?). Don’t look at me “Watch the road!” Android is testing new digital health features

With the popularity of smart devices, the phenomenon of people with their heads down has become more and more serious, although some countries have already considered making it clear that pedestrians should not use their mobile phones. Or in a more positive (or prank?) way, directly make theseA road exclusively for low-headed people. But such behavior may not only have a negative impact on vision due to continuous shaking, but may also lead to safety issues due to failure to pay attention to the surroundings.

After all, it might be okay if you hit someone, but if you didn’t notice the car coming on the road, then…

In this regard, Google, which often brings friendly features through mobile system updates, has recently been discovered to have started to bring a new feature called Heads Up (look up at the road?) for “Digital Wellbeing” in the Android system.

In short, when you are immersed in the joy of scrolling on your phone and don’t realize that you shouldn’t focus on the screen, Android will let you know through the notification function. The reminder suggests that you remember to look up and avoid using your phone while walking – Look up, Avoid using your phone while walking.

According to Jay Prakash Kamat, who shared this thoughtful new feature online, he discovered this feature on his Pixel 4A. However, the editor confirms that this feature has not yet been seen on the Pixel 3 XL in hand. XDA Developers pointed out that this should be a beta testing feature of digital health. Judging from the permissions required to activate it, Heads Up should use the mobile phone’s motion sensor, supplemented by GPS signals to detect whether it is moving.

I have to say that this function is still more persuasive. I feel that even if Google activates such a feature by default in the future, it will still be easily annoying and turned off by many users. However, for safety reasons, regardless of whether there is a mandatory function or not, it is really recommended not to slide your phone while walking…
