This time, LINE also launched special chat room effects limited to White Day. All iOS device users or computer version users can enter designated keywords during the event, and the cute bears and rabbits will pop up in the background of the chat room!

From yesterday (9) to 11:00 on March 15, 2021, LINE has once again launched holiday chat room background special effects. As long as users of LINE iOS and PC versions can enter in the LINE chat room「Love you」、「love you」or「Love」(No uppercase or lowercase limit) Any combination of these three keywords can summon the sweet special effects of Bear and Rabbit holding hands in the same frame!
Regarding the versions supported by LINE’s White Valentine chat room special effects this time, the LINE iOS version needs to be updated to 9.15.0 (inclusive) or above, and the LINE computer version (Windows or Mac) needs to be updated to 5.13.0 (inclusive) or above. Unfortunately, this time the special effects do not support the Android version.
If you enter the above keywords during the event but the chat room background effects do not appear, you can first close and reopen the LINE App, then go to “Settings” > “Chat” to confirm whether the “Chat Room Background Effects” function is turned on.
Of course, if you don’t want the chat room background effects to be triggered accidentally due to “accidental” mention of keywords in the message content while chatting, you can also turn off the chat room background effects function from the settings.
