Apple Maps just launched a while agoJapan’s “Look Around” Information, allowing friends who miss traveling to Japan to wander around Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo through the high-quality 360 street view function. In response to the demand for holiday travel in Taiwan, Apple also chose to officially launch the latest feature of “real-time public transportation information” during the National Day holidays.
Simply put, it adds the function of dynamic real-time information updates to public transportation timetables, real-time departure times, arrival times, bus or train routes, etc., thereby making the arrangement of public transportation routes more accurate and easy to use – especially for Taiwan trains that are prone to delays… This really makes Apple Maps much more useful.
In addition, Apple Maps can now also see “important announcements” about suspensions and additional flights, etc., displayed in the detailed information of the planned route. As Apple Maps information becomes more and more complete and accurate (plus the editor has recently started using CarPlay and can report road names for likes), I am really using the built-in map on my iPhone to plan my itinerary more and more often.
