Skills, especially on ClawHub, which now has at least 3,000 Skills, so many people go to this website to find them. However, as we reported a few days ago,Skills with embedded malicious code have now emergedAt the same time, overseas cybersecurity research teams have also discovered that ClawHub currently lacks any security scanning functionality, which means malicious actors can easily share problematic Skills.

To address this issue, the VoltAgent team created the “Awesome Openclaw Skills” project on GitHub, curating a selection of 1,700 safe and practical Skills so everyone can use them with greater peace of mind.

Of course, they also can’t guarantee that these Skills are always safe or trustworthy, so they recommend checking the content yourself before installing and using them, and using tools like Claude Code or Codex to review whether there are any potential dangerous behaviors.

Awesome Openclaw Skills: An open source project featuring over 1,700 curated Skills, excluding high-risk ones

According to the introduction, the OpenClaw ecosystem has a vast number of Skills with highly uneven quality, so the VoltAgent team created the Awesome Openclaw Skills open source project to help OpenClaw users more easily access high-quality Skills, with all collections sourced from ClawHub.

ClawHub now has over 3,000 accumulated Skills, a massive number that makes it difficult for newcomers to distinguish which ones are useful and which may pose risks. Therefore, Awesome Openclaw Skills places special emphasis on “organizing and filtering.” After extracting content from ClawHub, it removes duplicate entries, spam, non-English descriptions, cryptocurrency/blockchain/DeFi-related content, and Skills that may be risky or harmful (such as: abuse, mechanism bypassing, or fraud-related). It then categorizes the remaining Skills by actual use cases, allowing developers and general users to find suitable tools with significantly less time investment.

The project also continues to accept community contributions, using Issues and Pull Requests to correct misclassifications and add new entries.
