Google Clock’s built-in sleep analysis function is officially launched to Android users

previously Google Clock app revamped updateHere, non-Pixel users can already see interface improvements including dark mode and moving the main function buttons to the bottom. Following closely behind, is the new “Bed Time” feature that is open to a small number of users – and now it is finally open to all Android users who can use the Clock app.

This function, independent of the alarm clock, basically allows you to set the desired sleep time range. In addition to reminding you that it’s time to go to bed, it will also actively mute your phone within the set time range, and can also eliminate your wake-up annoyance as much as possible through the more considerate wake-up alarm clock/sunrise alarm clock. In the bedtime function, in addition to setting up daily scheduling functions of Google Assistant, you can also choose your favorite YouTube Music or Spotify music as sleep aid music or as an alarm clock.

The Google Clock application can also provide sleep analysis data related to Android digital health functions through functional reference data such as smart sensing – if supported, the system will provide settings and permissions for related information. It will try to predict your sleep status through motion sensors and light sensors.
