Although everyone may feel a little dizzy after watching it (XD), because this innovative time-lapse video is so beautiful, I still recommend it to everyone to enjoy. Different from ordinary starry sky or landscape time-lapse works, this work uses the SW Star Adventurer equatorial mount and Nikon D810 to take nearly 24 hours of time-lapse photos spanning day and night, and finally produces a full-day time-lapse video with the sky as the reference point. The most interesting thing about this video is that it seems to be reversed and the sky is the protagonist, making the earth’s surface appear to be rotating over a 24-hour day. Feel the rotation of the earth! Let’s enjoy time-lapse photography that fixes the sky together
This video, posted on the YouTube channel of Polish photographer Bartosz Wojczyński, replays the changes in scenery at Tivoli Farm in Namibia over 24 hours, as if the sky is fixed and the earth’s rotation is directly felt. The photographer used a Nikon D810 camera, an ultra-wide-angle 15mm lens, and the help of an equatorial mount to completely record the changes in the scenery for 24 hours. This is really amazing. After all, there is definitely a big difference in exposure between day and night. It is not easy to coordinate the transition between day and night to produce this beautiful work.

This 4K 60fps video continuously replays the changes in the sky and earth for 23 hours and 56 minutes – according to the PetaPixel website, the shooting interval of this video is about 1 minute and 1 frame (you can calculate how many frames were taken in total). The landscape in the video will rotate around the screen over time, which is truly a veritable “earth rotation”. althoughequatorial mountIt is possible to track celestial objects through positioning to complete advanced photography, but most of them seem to be shooting with specific stars. But this creative time-lapse shooting method with landscapes is still a very eye-catching expression technique (although it is a little dizzy).
