I don’t know if I’ve seen research pointing out that Apple CarPlay / Android Auto are more distracting while driving than minor DUIs and cell phone citationsAndroid Auto has recently been discovered by foreign netizens and has begun to add some more intuitive automatic functions and display methods.

According to reports from Ausdroid, they discovered that Android Auto has recently begun to introduce a “speed limit display” function that is closely related to wallets – although Google Maps accident and speed camera reporting featureThe official is still unwilling to open it to us, but if it can keep up with the existing speed limit display function of Google Maps, I believe that users of the Android Auto car system can still avoid driving too fast to a certain extent.

Another new feature discovered is the ability to understand automatically triggered navigation actions. In short, Android Auto will know how to automatically help you navigate to work or home during your commute. It feels a bit like Google Maps, which automatically asks you if you want to change the route based on traffic conditions. Ausdroid’s impression is that through this function, the potential traffic conditions that may be encountered on the commute can be known in advance, and there is an opportunity to avoid congested road sections through different routes.

After all, sometimes even though I know I can open Google Maps to take a look, I am always lazy (me XD). This function can help people avoid such problems in time. Automated functions can avoid the distraction of constantly operating the screen. I wonder if Android Auto in your car has also received this feature? You should be able to look forward to it.
