Everyone else has 3D photos to play with. Now, no matter what phone you use, you can use a versatile app to give your phone more functions! The LucidPix app introduced this time can directly capture 3D photos and create GIF files, allowing you to share them with friends and family on 3D photo album galleries such as Facebook.

LucidPix allows older Android and iOS phones to capture 3D photos beyond their hardware limits
This app requires no special accessories or two rear lenses, and uses artificial intelligence (AI) rendering to create 3D photos while you view the work. Tilt or move your phone to see photos come to life.

On Facebook, there are several large communities dedicated to creating 3D photos. According to the principle, LucidPix is the easiest way to create and customize 3D photos. LucidPix can use the standard lens of the mobile phone to capture 3D photos. It can also convert existing 2D photos into 3D photos and send them to the social platform through the built-in sharing function.
Often when 3D is mentioned, what comes to mind are 3D TVs, phones, etc., which can be said to be failed products. Part of the problem with 3D is that it is often used to promote it as a new product category, rather than using it as a new creative medium. LucidPix cleverly uses 3D as a creative tool. You can upload your own 3D art photos to the website for submission. After five days of review, you can share them with users around the world on the built-in art gallery.

The company behind the app, Lusid, demonstrated its imaging at CES. Instead of using dedicated hardware, the app captures images with software that mimics human behavior. This software can be seen in the company’s LusidCam VR180 camera and Red Hydrogen phone and the unreleased Red 8K 3D Lithium cinema camera.

The LucidPix app is free, but you’ll need to pay $1 per photo if you want to get watermark-free photos. If you’re a professional 3D creator, you can subscribe to the Pro version for $6 per month or $52 per year to get unlimited watermark-free photos.
