Logitech is celebrating its 40th anniversary in Taiwan this year. Having evolved from an early pioneer in the IT industry, the company now spans a wide range of application areas, including esports, personal office solutions, content creation, and video collaboration. Logitech continues to build technology experiences that combine design, aesthetics, and performance, with human-computer interaction at the core, solidifying its position as a market leader. Looking ahead, Logitech will align with the pace of user scenarios, synchronize with its global product strategy, and actively expand into high-growth vertical markets such as AI collaboration and fintech, continuing to deepen the value of technology in both everyday and professional settings.

Logitech has been deeply rooted in Taiwan for 40 years and has simultaneously unveiled the world’s first gaming mouse featuring HITS technology

Since its founding in 1981, Logitech has long been dedicated to innovation in human-computer interaction and digital experiences. After entering the Taiwan market in 1986, the company initially established itself as a manufacturing base and has gradually evolved into a core hub integrating R&D, engineering, and innovative design. The Hsinchu R&D Center has long been involved in the research, development, and validation of wireless and esports-related technologies. It has evolved from a production outpost into the core of global innovation, solidifying Taiwan’s position within Logitech’s global innovation ecosystem.

From the optical mouse, which laid the foundation for human-computer interaction, from the HERO sensor and LIGHTSPEED wireless technology that set the standard for esports, to ergonomic designs and cross-device usability in the personal office space, as well as the integration of AI into video, audio, and interactive frameworks in recent years—Logitech continues to respond to users’ demands for efficiency, precision, and an enhanced overall experience through landmark product innovations.

Logitech’s core competitive advantage during its 40 years in Taiwan lies in its ability to continuously gain insights into user behavior and market changes, and to quickly translate these into concrete products and solutions. Logitech is the only keyboard and mouse brand in the industry that continues to invest in its own manufacturing facilities. Leveraging its robust R&D and manufacturing capabilities, the company has pioneered numerous industry-leading innovations, such as the first high-precision optical mouse capable of working on glass surfaces, the first mouse capable of switching between devices, and the first gaming mouse featuring wireless charging technology that allows users to charge while playing. Beyond these “firsts,” Logitech has gone a step further by developing a remote device control center, enabling IT personnel to remotely monitor the usage status of office equipment such as keyboards and mice. With the rise of AI as a global topic, Logitech will continue to prioritize innovation, transforming AI technology into more intuitive and efficient productivity experiences, leading users and the industry toward the next phase of smart applications.

Logitech will continue to provide Taiwanese consumers with richer product experiences through a wider variety of formats. To celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary in Taiwan, starting today, purchase a K98M keyboard paired with a designated mouse, or buy a designated gaming keyboard from the PRO X TKL series, and you’ll receive a free gift worth NT$1,680—the “Lee Joo-bong Limited Edition Co-branded Keycaps”—featuring the brand ambassador. Logitech G also announced today (the 14th) the launch of the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE wireless analog gaming mouse, designed specifically for professional players and gamers seeking peak performance. It is the industry’s first gaming mouse to feature the revolutionary SUPERSTRIKE technology. The PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE also features RAPID TRIGGER technology, which combines 10 trigger points and 5 ultra-fast trigger reset settings with 6 levels of adjustable click force. This allows players to maintain stable, precise, and confident control even in high-pressure competitive environments.

Co-developed with top esports teams such as G2 Esports, NAVI, and BLG, the PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE wireless analog gaming mouse is equipped with the HERO 2 sensor and features “Power of 8” technology, supporting a LIGHTSPEED wireless report rate of up to 8 kHz, acceleration of up to 88G and precise tracking at 888 IPS, delivering millisecond-level responsiveness and pixel-level precision.
