Meta announced today the official launch in Taiwan of its new integrated subscription service, Meta One, packaging advanced features across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI into different paid plans. The initial rollout includes more than 50 features, and the global cumulative number of subscribers and trial users has surpassed 15 million. Meta emphasized that the core features and experiences of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Meta AI remain free, while the subscription service unlocks higher AI usage quotas, advanced expression features, and professional tools for creators and businesses.

Solution Architecture: From a Single App to an Integrated Suite

Meta One’s solution is divided into three tiers:

Single product solution(Launched earlier this year):

  • Instagram Plus(NT$69/month): Custom fonts for messages and Stories, notifications when selected people view your Stories, and message preview feature
  • Facebook Plus(NT$69/month): Custom App icon, Messenger customization options, Reels insights data, and “Mood” extended to Reels and posts.
  • WhatsApp Plus(Monthly fee NT$49): Exclusive themes and icons, animated effect stickers, pin more chats, and will test chat backup storage and a “Focus Time” feature in the future.

Individual and AI Advanced User Bundle Plan:

  • Core solution(Web monthly plan NT$159; in-app purchase NT$199): Includes Plus features across the three apps, plus higher AI usage limits, so you can generate more images and videos with Meta AI and use AI tools such as Restyle and voice effects on Instagram.
  • Premium Plan(Web version monthly fee NT$519; in-app purchase NT$650): Fully includes core plan features and provides the most ample computing quota.

Merchant and Creator Bundle Plan:

  • Basic plan(Web monthly subscription from NT$369; in-app purchase from NT$459): brand management tools, a higher Meta Business Agent reply quota, verified badge, and impersonation protection.
  • Advanced Plan(Web version monthly subscription from NT$899; in-app purchase from NT$1,139): schedule Stories up to 30 days in advance, add links to organic-reach posts, export analytics reports, and team account management.
  • Expert Solution(Web version monthly fee starts at NT$2,699) andPremium plan(Web version monthly fee starting at NT$8,999): Highest-tier feature permissions and large-scale team management usage.

AI Creative Tools: Image and Video Generation Powered by the Muse Model

Bundle plan subscribers can use AI features powered by the Muse model, including image generation, editing, and video generation, and make more frequent use of built-in AI tools such as Instagram’s Restyle. Meta said that in early testing, more than half of bundle plan subscribers used both AI and expression features, with Restyle and voice effects among the main reasons users subscribed.

Creator and Business Tools: Meta Business Agent 24/7 Customer Support

Meta One’s creator and business solution highlights that there is no need to create a separate account or download an additional app, offering professional tools directly within the existing platform environment. Features include: an advanced profile that integrates and displays an official website, physical location, and customer reviews; a more prominent follow button on Reels; and automatically sending follow invitations to users who have previously interacted.

Meta Business Agent, meanwhile, offers a higher reply allowance and can respond to customer messages instantly around the clock. Meta also teased the future launch of Edits Plus, which will provide cloud storage for syncing projects across devices and increase the usage allowance for the Edits assistant.
