According to the latest information recently released by Xbox officials, the current development codename of the next-generation Xbox console is “Project Helix.” Not only that, this new console will support games on both Xbox and PC platforms.

Former Xbox president Sarah Bond confirmed last year that the next-generation Xbox console had indeed entered the development stage, and revealed that the console was built in partnership between Microsoft and AMD. Not long ago, Microsoft had denied rumors that they were about to completely withdraw from the game console hardware market.
