Just in mid-March, Kadokawa Game Link announced the winners of the 2025 Japan Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards. This award is one of the readers’ choice awards with the largest community in Japan, and the voting period falls from December 19, 2025 to January 18, 2026. The shortlisted games include many popular works in 2025, as well as ongoing service games.
According to this year’s voting results, “Silent Hill F”, produced by Taiwanese team Niba Entertainment and published by Japan’s Konami, was selected as the “Game of the Year” award, successfully defeating well-received masterpieces such as “Ghost of Mount Yotei”, “Light and Shadow: Expedition 33” and “Death Stranding 2”. In addition, “Silent Hill f” also successfully won many other awards.
Taiwan Niba Entertainment and Konami, who developed this game, were successfully selected as the “Best Game Developer/Studio”, and Kato Konatsu, who played the protagonist Hinako Fukasui in the game, also won the Best “Voice Performance Award”
