Far EasTone Telecom issued an important notice in the official fan group [Original Asia Pacific users will officially stop service at 24:00 on March 31, 2026]. If the original Asia Pacific phone number is not replaced with a Far EasTone card by then, the mobile communication will not be able to receive signals and cannot access the Internet, send and receive text messages, make or receive calls.
[Original Asia-Pacific Users Stop Service Announcement] What are the precautions? The following is an explanation:

According to the Far EasTone Asia Pacific merger plan, Far EasTone Telecom is scheduled to complete the second phase of the integration of base stations and core networks before the end of 2025. Far EasTone Telecom began to notify former Asia Pacific Telecom users through multiple channels at the end of August last year that they must change to Far EasTone cards before 2025/12/31, otherwise mobile phone services will be unavailable. Considering that the card replacement situation may not be as expected, Far EasTone Telecom later announced that it would extend the card replacement deadline to March 31, 2026. For users who have not changed their cards before the end of the year, they will switch to roaming Far EasTone until the card replacement deadline.

However, as March 31, 2026 is approaching, Far EasTone Telecom has recently announced again on its official website and Facebook fan group [the original Asia Pacific phone number will cease service at 24:00 on March 31, 2026], reminding the original Asia Pacific Telecom users who have not completed the card replacement that their mobile communications will not be able to receive signals and cannot access the Internet, send and receive text messages, make or receive calls.

Far EasTone Telecom reminds former Asia Pacific Telecom users to bring both of their IDs (including the original ID card) toFar EasTone direct sales/franchised stores, online stores, online customer service or mobile phone direct dial 0936000818 and press 2, apply for free SIM card replacement to ensure uninterrupted service, and extend the original contract.
Special reminder: Since the change from Asia Pacific Telecom to Far EasTone Telecommunications is regarded as code portability, there will be a situation where code portability will be delayed for more than one day before it takes effect. For example, a transfer application submitted after 20:00 on 2026/3/31 will be effective on 2026/4/2, and please note that mobile communication services (including voice, SMS, and Internet access) will not be available on 2026/4/1.If the application is submitted through an online store, the operating rules of the online store will also apply.
