Meta recentlyOfficially announcedTwo new Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses: Blayzer and Scriber. These two new products not only expand the existing product line, but are also specially designed for users who wear glasses for a long time and require prescription lenses. In addition to hardware updates, Meta has also simultaneously launched a number of software features and brought new colors and lens options to the existing Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley smart glasses series, making the overall product lineup more complete this spring and summer.

Meta launches two new Ray-Ban smart glasses, friendly to all-day wearers
The addition of Blayzer and Scriber extends the Ray-Ban Meta series from the original classic looks such as Wayfarer, Headliner, and Skyler to styles that are more suitable for daily wear needs. Both new products are based on the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 platform, but have made a lot of adjustments in details with the goal of improving comfort during long-term use.

The frames of the two glasses are slimmer than before, the weight distribution is more balanced, and the rotation angle of the hinge is also larger, making it easier to put on and take off the glasses. Most importantly, the ends of the temples and the nose pads have been changed to an adjustable design, which is a big boon for people who need to wear glasses all day long. In the past, many users reported that fixed and hard nose pads easily caused a sense of pressure, and this improvement is precisely to solve this problem.
In terms of appearance, Blayzer offers four colors: matte black, glossy transparent black, matte transparent ice gray and glossy transparent dark olive green; Scriber has glossy transparent ocher as the only option, presenting a more personalized style.

In addition to hardware, Meta also brings a series of software updates to the smart glasses ecosystem. For Meta Ray-Ban Display models, functions such as Spotify quick operations, Instagram Reels browsing, new gadget interface, pedestrian navigation, and screen recording will be added in the future. Some users may have already experienced several of these updates, and Meta also predicts that it will continue to expand the interaction methods, making the glasses not only a wearable device, but also like a portable smart assistant.
As for Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley smart glasses, Meta AI updates are equally rich, including hands-free WhatsApp message summaries, nutrition tracking functions, and 20 real-time translation languages that will be launched this summer, covering Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Arabic, etc., making cross-language communication more natural.

To welcome the summer, Meta has also launched new colors and lens combinations for many existing glasses. The Skyler model adds a glossy transparent peach color frame with gray photochromic lenses; the Headliner also launches a matte transparent peach color with the same lens. The classic Wayfarer features a glossy transparent gray frame with brown photochromic lenses, presenting a softer summer style.
Oakley’s sports Vanguard series introduces Prizm lens technology, which can enhance athletes’ color recognition in specific environments and improve visual performance. The Vanguard series will be available in four lens colors: black, rose gold, cobalt blue and amber to meet the needs of different sports scenarios.
As for the HSTN series with a more life-like appearance, Dark Golf Prizm lenses are added for the first time, and a new Light Curry frame with brown photochromic lenses is launched, making the overall style more layered.

Blayzer and Scriber are currently available for pre-order on the Meta and Ray-Ban official websites, starting at $499, with final prices varying based on individual prescription lens needs. The two new products are expected to be officially launched on April 14. As for the new color and lens combinations of the Ray-Ban and Oakley series, most of them are already available for purchase, allowing consumers to choose the smart glasses that best suit them before the summer.
