Apple today launched major updates to several creative tools, including Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Photomator, and other apps in the Creator Studio suite. At the same time, Final Cut Camera, Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Motion, Compressor and other software have also received version updates simultaneously, bringing a more complete workflow experience to professional creators and general users.
Apple updates Creator Studio family of apps including Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro
Logic Pro: Adds Dolby Atmos mix preview and new Step Reflex Pack
One of the most anticipated new features of Logic Pro in this update is its official support for Dolby Atmos mix preview. According to Apple, users can now export lightweight, shareable preview files and listen to the spatial audio effects of the work when played on Apple Music on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac. This feature is currently only available on the Mac version, but it is a very practical addition for musicians who are engaged in spatial audio creation.
In addition to the Atmos preview, Logic Pro also adds the Step Reflex: Modern Garage gait reflex material pack. This material pack is inspired by British garage music from the 1990s to the early 2000s, adding more modern sound processing, integrating strong low frequencies, immersive atmosphere and EDM style elements. Whether creating dancefloor hits or more introspective electronic compositions, the pack’s two-step rhythms, rave-style synths, deep bass lines and vocal slices allow musicians to quickly create infectious arrangements. This package also supports Mac and iPad.

Pixelmator Pro and Photomator: New camera support and more professional features
Pixelmator Pro (including standalone Mac version and Creator Studio version) and Photomator are also receiving updates today. These updates make Pixelmator Pro and Photomator closer to professional needs in image processing, design and workflow. Both apps have added full support for the compressed RAW (cRAW) format of three cameras, including the Sony Alpha ILCE-7M5, Fujifilm GFX 100S II and Fujifilm GFX 100RF, allowing professional photographers to more smoothly process images from the latest models.
Apple also highlights several new features of Pixelmator Pro:
- Supports processing of HE and HE* RAW image formats of Nikon Z5II and Z50II.
- You can open and edit RAW files shot with Panasonic LUMIX DC-S1RM2 in high-resolution mode.
- The template and model categories have been updated to include iPhone 17 device models, making it easier for designers to create app screenshots or marketing materials.
- Improved compatibility of SVG exported from Pixelmator Pro into Adobe Illustrator.
- Press and hold an image on the canvas to quickly compare before and after editing.
- The toolbar supports customization and can be adjusted from “View” > “Customize Tools”.

Update also addedMany new keyboard shortcuts, improve editing efficiency, for example:
- When you hold down Option and use Select Subject, you can make a selection based on all layers.
- Use number keys 1–9 to quickly adjust layer opacity.
- Shift + Plus/Minus to cycle through blending modes.
- Command-J to copy the selection, Command-Shift-J to cut and paste the selection.
- Option-comma/period can quickly jump to the top or bottom layer.
- In documents with video layers, the space key can directly play or pause the video.
Final Cut Camera: New icons and performance improvements
Among other applications, Final Cut Camera has also received an update, with a new icon design consistent with the Creator Studio suite, making the visual style more unified. Apple said that this update also brings performance and stability improvements, allowing users to have a more reliable experience when shooting multi-camera videos or streaming.
