OPPO officially released its annual imaging flagship Find X9 Ultra today (21st). From hardware specifications to software tuning, it is fully tailored to the needs of professional image creators. Continuing the in-depth cooperation with the legendary camera brand Hasselblad, it caters to professional image creators and aims to become the “next professional camera” for users. OPPO Find X9 Ultra includes the world’s first 50-megapixel 10x optical telephoto lens, dual 200-megapixel lenses, and simultaneously launches a 300mm teleconverter exploration kit, with 200-megapixel rich details to further challenge the limits of long-distance photography.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra, the world’s first 10x optical telephoto, redefines mobile photography
Find X9 Ultra is equipped with the new “Hasselblad Master Imaging System” and is equipped with five exclusive lenses, the most eye-catching of which is the world’s first 50-megapixel 10x optical telephoto lens. OPPO uses an innovative five-fold reflective periscope structure to achieve a true 10x optical zoom and even 20x optical quality while reducing the size by 30%.
This telephoto lens is equipped with a light entrance structure that can filter 99.999% of stray light, and sensor-shift optical anti-shake technology to ensure that long-distance shots are still sharp. Paired with a customized JNL sensor and a large f/3.5 aperture, the telephoto capabilities that were previously only possible with a teleconverter are fully integrated into the body.
Dual 200 million pixel lens system
Another core highlight of Find X9 Ultra is the dual 200-megapixel Hasselblad camera system:
- 200 million pixel super-sensitive main lens: Using the new 1/1.12-inch Sony LYTIA901 sensor, f/1.5 large aperture
- 200 million pixel 3x super-sensitive telephoto lens: Equipped with a 1/1.28-inch sensor (the largest in its class), combined with a customized large light input lens and f/2.2 aperture
It also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a new generation of true color lens. This multi-spectral lens can accurately measure environmental color, color temperature, white balance and other data to ensure that the colors in various shooting situations are faithful to what you see. Thanks to the high-pixel lens and optical-grade cropping technology, Find X9 Ultra achieves a high-quality composition range from 14mm to 460mm.
Hasselblad Master Mode and 300mm Teleconverter Kit
After five years of in-depth research and development, Find X9 Ultra brings a new “Hasselblad Master Mode”. This mode uses a new image processing process to get rid of the strong tone mapping common in previous smartphones, ensuring that images are rich in detail and natural and realistic. In Hasselblad Master mode, it supports shooting 50-megapixel JPEG MAX and RAW MAX, and provides optical-grade image quality performance at six focal lengths of 14mm, 23mm, 47mm, 70mm, 139mm and 230mm. There are 9 built-in classic film simulation effects, and image parameters can be customized.
OPPO simultaneously launched the “Hasselblad Professional Teleconverter Set”, in which the 300mm professional teleconverter adopts an all-metal body design and is composed of 16 precision optical lenses. Mounted on a 3x telephoto lens, it can achieve an equivalent focal length of 300mm (13x optical zoom). The protective case is equipped with a shutter button and zoom knob to recreate the authentic feel of a traditional camera.
Movie-level recording capabilities
Find X9 Ultra is OPPO’s most powerful camera to date. The entire machine supports 4K 60fps video recording at all focal lengths. The dual 200 million pixel lenses also support 4K 120fps movie-level shooting, and for the first time, 8K 30fps video recording specifications are introduced.
For professional post-production needs, Find X9 Ultra imports the O-Log2 image format, which can retain more dark details, significantly reduce image smear, and pass ACES color certification. Supporting the 3D LUT function, users can directly import third-party LUTs and preview the color grading effects in real time, or burn color styles directly into files.
Flagship performance and battery life
Find X9 Ultra is equipped with a 6.82-inch 144Hz QHD+ AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. It uses a self-developed Display P3 Pro display chip with industry-leading color accuracy. In terms of performance, it is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform, which combines a larger heat dissipation area with new heat dissipation materials. Equipped with a 7050mAh large-capacity OPPO silicon carbon battery, it supports 100W SUPERVOOC wired flash charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless flash charging.
Master aesthetics and ultimate protection
Find X9 Ultra inherits Hasselblad’s classic design language. The “Tundra” color system uses environmentally friendly plain leather technology to present the primitive beauty of glaciers; the “Velvet Sand Canyon” is made of aerospace-grade fiber material. The new “Master’s Mirror” lens design integrates the camera aperture element with a slightly curved hexagonal inner ring. The body has passed IP66, IP68 and IP69 multiple protection certifications, providing comprehensive waterproof and dustproof capabilities. OPPO Find X9 Ultra has been confirmed to be launched in the Taiwan market. Some feature support may vary depending on the market. The official launch date will be announced later.
