In short, the system will now automatically help you organize the disappeared limited-time dynamic posts of the Instagram accounts you follow, and push them to you again through the new “circle display” + “selected posts”.
This feature is believed to follow Instagram’s previous efforts to make it easier for users to see updates from accounts they follow and from friends and family. But if the old featured dynamic functions that many people have put a lot of effort into sorting and classifying are cut off for the development of such functions, I don’t know how these people will feel.

According to reports, this feature is only available for testing on a small range of users, so the actual impact may not be large.
But there are two things I am more curious about. One is that this situation that results in “unlimited time-limited posts” or that users cannot control whether followers can review them again may affect some users who post restricted posts because they can only see them within 24 hours – such as “will be open today” and other limited posts. Regarding this point, I don’t know if users can set exclusions or know in advance that the restrictions will be “selected”.
Another point that I am more curious about is that I don’t know if this means that after the previous circle selection updates were transformed into one page of the grid tab page, it is likely that users will have less need to search for the previously restricted content of their favorite accounts. Only then did the official have to use some new features to remind everyone of the existence of selected updates – of course, it is not ruled out that Instagram wants to further let the algorithm gain control of the “selected” limited-time updates.
