Google launched a brand new AI assistant called CC, which sends daily schedules and to-do emails based on data from Gmail, Calendar, and Drive.
CC is an experimental AI productivity assistant recently launched by Google Lab. It connects data from your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, pulling out “what tasks need to be done today” each day, then compiles them into a “daily briefing” email and sends it to you.
Roughly like the image below, it begins with “Your schedule for today,” and includes today’s highlights, reminders, invitations needing replies, your deliveries and offers, and calendar events. This information is all pulled from your Google services, meaning that with CC, you don’t need to spend time every day going into Gmail, Calendar, and other services to look things up—just look at this email directly:
Google also added that all user data will be protected and will not be used to train Google’s AI models. In addition, “Your Today’s Schedule” also supports customization, meaning you can customize the content you want CC to organize by simply sending an email to CC.
Besides itinerary notification emails, CC can also do other things, such as:
- It may proactively draft emails for you, helping you reply, contact others, or follow up.
- You can email CC at any time to ask it questions, search for information, or have it help you draft replies.
- When you make a request, CC can create events directly in your calendar, and it will only list you to ensure privacy.
- You can let CC know your preferences via email, so it can better match your usage habits and create a better experience.
Unfortunately, like the Disco AI browser, CC is currently only available in the US and Canada, and Google users aged 18 and over can apply to join the waitlist. If you are a Google AI Ultra and paid user, you will get priority.

As for when it will officially launch? That’s hard to say, because experimental tools from Google Labs are “not guaranteed” to make it to an official release—it really depends on how users respond down the line. If usage is high, feedback is positive, and the commercial value is clear, there’s a good chance it’ll be “promoted to a full version.”
The only thing to note is that CC is not part of Google Workspace or the Gemini apps—it’s a standalone experimental service, meaning that when it officially launches, it will also be a separate Google AI tool.
