AI The videos and images being generated are becoming more and more realistic, which means that now when we see certain content, our first reaction is to doubt whether it’s real or AI-generated. While there are some detection tools available online, most of them require payment. If you’re using iPhone, earlier there was a “Null AI: Deepfake AI Detector” offering a lifetime free promotion, a tool that can help you identify with one click AI videoOr AI imageof AppAfter obtaining it, you can use it for free and unlimited for life.

However, it’s worth noting that these AI detection tools can only serve as a supplementary aid—they can’t fully and accurately determine whether something is AI-generated, and they can still make mistakes from time to time.

Null AI: Deepfake AI Detector Lifetime Edition Free! One-Click Quick Detection of Real or Fake AI Videos and AI Images

Null AI: Deepfake AI Detector is an app that focuses on quickly identifying AI-generated content. When you come across a viral video, a suspicious clip, or something that doesn’t seem like real footage, you can upload it to the app and let it use AI to determine whether it’s “real footage” or “AI-generated.”

Although the interface is only in English, the operation is fairly straightforward, and general users can get up to speed quickly. It supports video and image recognition—the app analyzes and provides results with confidence scores indicating whether content is real or AI-generated, along with the reasons.

Main features

  • Deepfake Detection: Analyzing and Interpreting Deepfake/Synthetic Videos
  • Authenticity Score: Provides Real vs AI results with confidence scores, making it easier for you to interpret.
  • Multiple input methods: supports providing a link or selecting from a file source.
  • Quick scan: emphasizes real-time analysis, doesn’t take too long to get results.
  • The interface is user-friendly: the operation is simple, but unfortunately it does not support Chinese.
  • Broad applicability: suitable for fact-checking short-form social media videos, news verification, fraud prevention, and confirming content authenticity.

Just a reminder, this app’s introductory instructions are a bit long, and you’ll need to spend some time completing them before you get to the lifetime version offer and the app’s main screen.

Get “Null AI: Deepfake AI Detector”

After following the link above to the App Store page for Null AI: Deepfake AI Detector, it’s recommended to first check whether the in-app purchase “One time Offer” shows $0. If it does, it means it’s still in its limited-time free promotion. On first launch, besides a brief introduction to the app’s features, there are also some questions that can’t be skipped.

For example, how accurate are you at judging AI videos? There are 5 questions, and they’re quite difficult:

They will also explain how their AI’s judgment accuracy compares with competitors, the judgment process, and its accuracy on common AI models:

Then it will let you try, this step cannot be skipped, you must upload a video or image:

Then the lifetime version free promotion screen will pop up. Click “Claim your one time offer” and check whether there is any amount. If there is no amount, then it’s free; if there is, be absolutely sure not to click twice to get it. When it displays “Your purchase was successful”, that means you’ve upgraded to the lifetime version:

The image below is the main screen. Tap the search icon at the bottom to choose whether to recognize an image or a video. Before recognition, a message will pop up reminding you that the AI recognition result is only for assistance, not absolute:

For the video section, there are two modes: “paste link” and “manual upload.” The link currently supports YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. I tested a one-step AI video on TikTok, and then clicked Analyze Video:

After waiting for a few dozen seconds, you’ll get a score showing the probability that this video might be AI-generated. The video I uploaded is definitely AI-generated, so it was successfully detected, with confidence as high as 80%:

Next, I tested the image part. The image feature only supports manual upload. I randomly picked a photo from my album and uploaded it, and sure enough, it recognized it as not AI-generated, with a confidence level as high as 95%:

However, as mentioned earlier, this app can still make recognition errors. For example, the image below is a three-panel snow scene generated by Gemini, and after recognition it said it was not AI-generated, with 90% confidence, but it actually was AI-generated:

I tested another AI image and it recognized successfully:
