Taiwan’s Ministry of Digital Development has further adapted the web interface of the anti-fraud platform “Internet Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Network” into an App, so that all users of iOS and Android systems can use the exclusive App to more securely verify their identity and use anti-fraud related functions – a more real-time, clearer inquiry and reporting platform created by government agencies can theoretically reduce the problem of being defrauded to a greater extent.

According to the description of the “Internet Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Network” App, this application supports the following three main functions:
1. 查詢可疑詐騙資訊
「網詐通報查詢網」APP提供民眾查詢可疑詐騙資訊的功能，民眾可輸入網址、簡訊內容或其他可疑資訊，以利快速辨識是否為詐騙。系統將整合警政署165全民防騙網、金管會金融消費者保護中心及其他主管機關之詐騙資訊，並透過人工智慧技術進行分析判別，提供民眾查詢參考。
2. 通報可疑詐騙資訊
民眾若發現可疑詐騙資訊，也可透過「網詐通報查詢網」APP進行通報。通報資訊將即時送交主管機關查證，並依查證結果下架或註記相關詐騙資訊。
3. 了解詐騙樣態
「網詐通報查詢網」提供系統內詐騙訊息的統計數字以及我國打擊詐騙的數據儀表板，以提升民眾識詐能力。
I actually used the Android version of the “Internet Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Network” App. Basically, it seems that it currently prefers to directly copy the web version – the community diagram of the Digital Development Department is actually still a web version. The interface of the “Internet Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Network” is very simple and easy to understand. On the main interface, you can see a preview of the popular and latest scam-related reports and processing progress – after clicking on it, you can even go directly to the original page of the scam to watch – this is pretty cool XD, but it also allows everyone to learn how the scam information looks like.
You can then search and report in the interface. However, compared to other similar applications, I personally feel that the “Internet Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Network” is a government channel. Therefore, we also support allowing public figures to report and clarify fraudulent use issues through this application.
Regarding the Ministry of Digital Information’s social information, when the AI algorithm of the “Internet Fraud Reporting and Inquiry Network” actively detects a suspected fraudulent advertisement that impersonates a celebrity’s identity, they will quickly confirm it with the person. The same procedures as for general scams are followed to notify the social platform to request removal.
It was also revealed that “Chairman OO He, Chairman OO Mou, Chairman OO Jia, Mr. 4OO, Ms. OO Qian, Ms. OO Zhen, Ms. OO Ping, Ms. OO Guan, Chairman OO Jie, etc.” are all already using this service – can you guess who it is? This is really a low-key celebrity endorsement promotion (it’s just a joke, not an endorsement! Please don’t report the scam, thank you!).
