Father’s Day chat room special effects keywords and applicable versions
It’s not difficult to enjoy these special effects, just make sure that the LINE app version meets the following requirements: iOS users need version 9.15.0 (inclusive) or above, Android users need version 10.2.0 (inclusive) or above, and Android system needs to be 7.1 or above. As long as these conditions are met, between 10 a.m. on August 2 and 10 a.m. on August 9, 2024, you can trigger special effects by entering keywords and let Xiong Da send blessings to your father.
If you are using LINE version 12.0.0 or above, when special effects appear when entering keywords, these keywords will appear in the form of links. If you want to replay the effects, just click on these links without having to re-enter the keywords. Special effects display problems and solutions
If you don’t see special effects on the home page, it may be for one of the following reasons:
- Birthday priority display: If the special effects period happens to be your birthday, LINE will give priority to display birthday special effects.
- Setting issues: Please check whether the “Playback Effects” function is turned on in your LINE settings. Path: LINE Home>Settings>Home>Play special effects.
- Reduce motion effect settings: iOS users please check whether “Reduce motion effects” is turned off at the path: Settings>Accessibility>Dynamic effects>Reduce motion effects. Android users, please check whether “Remove Animation” is turned off at the path: Settings > Assistance Tools > Remove Animation (varies by model and version).
- Problem with reinstalling LINE: If you have recently installed LINE, the special effects may not be displayed properly because the special effects materials have not been downloaded immediately.
